A George III hallmarked silver helmet shaped cream jug with bright cut decorated beaded rim, centred with octagonal cartouche initialled "ISE", with high loop handle, raised on spreading circular foot to square base with pin pricket decoration, maker's mark partially legible, probably Thomas Oliphant (Ollivant) of Manchester, London 1789, height 14.5cm including handle, also a pair of plain sugar tongs, John Round & Son Ltd, Sheffield 1892, length 13cm, approx 4ozt (2). CONDITION REPORT: Old repair to handle. Misshapen foot which is dented. Wear throughout.
Victorian cased silver christening set, comprising beaker (London 1879), maker - J. B. and a knife, fork and spoon, engraved monogram (Sheffield 1876), Hy. Wilkinson, together with an unusual Edwardian silver sugar and cream set, comprising a helmet cream jug and circular sugar bowl, pair sugar tongs and six coffee spoons in a fitted case, engraved initials (London 1901 / 1902), James Wakely and Frank Wheeler. All at approximately 13ozs, beaker 7.5cm overall height (2) CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. Silver contents very good, some minor surface scratching and tarnished. Silver knife blade is very slightly bent and handle has some denting. Hallmarks are clear. Case is very good, some minor scuffing to edges
