Victorian Post 1881 Dorsetshire Regiment Officers Helmet Plate of fine fire gilt eight pointed star with Victorian crown to top. Centre of blue felt with castle and motto Primus In Indis above and Montis Insignia Calpe below. Title scroll with The Dorsetshire Regiment. Plate is of two piece construction with three loop fittings on the reverse. Good overall condition.
Post 1902 Dorsetshire Regiment Other Ranks Helmet Plate in brass with two lug fittings, central section has Gibraltar castle and regimental motto underneath. Accompanied by another example with the later three tower castle design to the centre. Both remain in good overall condition. (2 items)

Imperial German 1860 Pattern Pickelhaube of leather body with brass fittings. Leather shell is miss shaped and has some damage, with a small section of leather missing from the reverse. Helmet does retain the original leather liner. Brass cross base, spike, peak trim, back strap. Helmet has the original but damaged helmet plate. Ideal restoration project.
Victorian Dorset Rifle Volunteers Officers Home Service Helmet of blue cloth covered cork body with blackened white metal officers helmet plate. Blackened white metal and red leather backed linked chin chains. Blackened white metal cross piece spike base and spike. Rosette side bosses. Interior of the helmet has leather and partial silk liner. Helmet has been slightly squashed and has a very small section of cork damage to one side but still displays well. One small section of moth tracking and some moth to the interior of the peaks.
Post 1902 Dorsetshire Regiment Officers Home Service Helmet of blue cloth covered cork body with original officers gilt kings crown helmet plate. Velvet backed linked chin chains and gilt metal rose side bosses. Helmet has the original base mount and spike to the top. Interior retains the original leather and partial silk liner. Helmet fittings retain much of the original fire gilt wash finish. Cloth remains in good condition. Sadly the top of the helmet has suffered some crushing to the cork at the crown of the helmet under the spike base.
Post 1902 Other Ranks Dorsetshire Regiment Home Service Helmet of blue cloth covered cork body with other ranks pattern helmet plate to the centre. Brass linked chin chain. Gilt brass rosette side bosses. Brass cross piece spike base with spike top. Interior has the leather sweatband and WD stamping with 1913 date. Some service wear and helmet is slightly miss-shaped.
2nd County of London Imperial Yeomanry (Westminster Dragoons) Troopers Helmet circa 1902-14, 1871 pattern helmet of white metal body with brass trip, side bosses and leather backed chin chain. The centre has a brass and white metal helmet plate. Helmet has the post 1910 white horse hair plume. Interior of the helmet has leather liner band. Reverse of the shell has some damage and a small section is missing. Helmet is an untouched example.
Imperial German Wurttemburg Pickelhaube of leather body with gilt brass helmet plate (missing antlers), brass front trim and back spine. Brass spike base and spike. Original leather chinstrap and leather liner to the interior. Some verdigris to the brass fittings and mold staining to the leather interior.
Imperial German Prussian Other Ranks Pickelhaube with grey metal fittings on leather skull. Helmet is complete with its original state and national cockades to the side. Original leather strap which has staple repair holding it in place. Interior retains the original leather liner. Back leather peak has slightly curved with age. Attached to the removable spike is a section of Imperial German dog tag for a Bavarian Field Artillery regiment, obviously picked up at the same time as the helmet as a souvenir. Good untouched example.
Rare WW1 British MK1 Steel Helmet with Cruise Visor, the helmet has a rough textured paint finish over the early apple green paint. Interior of the helmet has the early pattern liner system. To the front of the helmet is the fitted chain mail visor with linked chains that fit to the wire posts on each side of the helmet rim. Some flaking to the oilskin liner and wear to the paint finish but generally very good overall condition.
Spanish Cavalry Mounted Guard Helmet, with brass helmet plate to the centre. Short brass spike to the top of the helmet with decorative gilt cross base. Shell of the helmet similar in design to the Imperial German cuirassiers helmet. Linked brass chin chain. Interior of the helmet has the original liner. Good overall condition.
WW2 British Civil Defence Ambulance Staff Officers Steel Helmet, with thick white over paint finish, two central black bands to the central part of the helmet. The front has crudely painted STAFF OFFICER with a red A in the centre, reverse side has standard black painted A. Some chips to the over paint which reveals painted bars underneath indicating possibly either a re-issue or the original owner rose through the ranks. Interior of the helmet has the original chinstrap and liner. Liner has remains of 1939 date (top section only).
WW2 1942 Dated Other Ranks Foreign Service Helmet of cork body with khaki cloth covering. Helmet has foil covered interior and original leather sweatband which is stamped with makers details and date. Accompanied by a General Service beret with Royal Engineers cap badge, London Scottish glengarry with cast metal badge and two coloured field service caps. (5 items)
