AN 1871 PATTERN YEOMANRY CAVALRY OFFICER'S WHITE METAL HELMET, THE FIFE LIGHT HORSE, c. 1900, applied with the regimental crest, the Thane of Fife in full armour against a saltire beneath a crown, the motto below, with white metal spike and horse hair plume, with leather-lined white metal chin strap and leather lining, in its original tin case.
WW2 Third Reich Waffen SS Single Decal M35 Stahlhelm steel helmet. Single runic decal and evidence where the National colours decal has been removed as per orders. Shell maker and size marked "ET64" and lot number stamped "4392". Painted name and rank to rear skirt in white paint "SS - Stm. Meier 5 Ko". Complete with liner and original drawstring. The chinstrap is maker marked "... Berlin" and dated 1938. Liner band dated 1940. Original light apple green pre war/early war paint throughout. Comes with research photos of the grave of SS Rottenführer Albert Meier killed in action in Normandy 3/8/44 fighting with 2nd SS Panzer Divison "Das Reich" against the US 28th Inf Div. Buried in the Deutscher Soldatenfriedhof, Marigny, Normandy.

WW2 era British Four Draw Telescope. Range markings for 25, 30, 35 and 40. No makers marks. Complete in leather carrier with strap. Along with a British Home Front issue Steel helmet, three holes to each side to indicate rejected for Army service, maker marked and dated "BMB 1941". Complete with chinstrap and original paintwork. Also with postwar 1951-52 Childs ration book and a 1965 driving licence.
