WW2 American Fixed Bale M1 Steel Combat Helmet, superb example of an early M1 pattern steel combat helmet which retains nearly all of its original rough textured green paint finish to the exterior of the shell and most of the green paint over the lower brim covering. Helmet shell with front seam split and the chinstrap bales being fixed. Complete with the original separate liner with stamp to the interior for the maker Westinghouse Electric Company. Complete with both the thin brown leather strap and the larger webbing rear strap. Overall a superb example that has probably not been issued. Early fix bale examples were the type worn by the American forces during the Italian and Normandy landings.

American Swivel Bale M1 Steel Combat Helmet, good combat worn example with green paint finish to the exterior of the shell. Front seam split to the shell. Complete with its interior removable liner. Green canvas strap, slightly damaged. Helmet shows wear. Swivel bale helmet shells were introduced and issued to US forces towards the end of WW2.

WW2 Belgium Adrian Pattern Steel Combat Helmet, excellent example of the M26 pattern Adrian helmet retaining nearly all of its original paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell. Complete with Belgium lion helmet badge to the front. Interior retains the original leather liner system and leather chinstrap. These helmets are quite hard to find because Belgium was occupied so early by the German’s, many of the helmets were captured and re-issued for civil defence use with the Luftschutz or destroyed.

Afghan Army M-18 Steel Combat Helmet, good example of the German made M-18 steel combat helmet with the modifications made by the Afghan army. Complete with the original leather liner system and leather chinstrap. Accompanied by a modern made Aghan Pakol headdress in grey wool. (2 items) The German government sold to Afghanistan a large number of M-16 and M-18 pattern steel helmets which were surplus to requirements. These were then adapted for use by the Afghans.

Imperial German Wurttemberg (Konigin Olga) Dragoon Regiment Nr 25 Reserve Officers Pickelhaube with Parade Plume, good untouched example of the officers helmet with dragoon style square dip peak with silver trim. Officers Wurttemberg helmet plate in white metal with gilt reserve cross to the centre. Officers brass domed scaled chinstraps with officers state and national cockades. Silver spike cross base with brass officers securing stars and silver (plating worn) parade spike with the white horse hair parade plume / brush. Interior with leather officers sweatband and officers lining which shows wear. Antlers absent from stag on the helmet plate and fittings dulled, but still a good example of a scarce helmet.

Scaled officers chinstraps. Brass front trim and rear spine. Circular spike base with officers spike and star stud fittings. Helmet is complete with leather sweatband and officers cloth lining with gilt tooled tailors details, in the centre “C. W. BORCHERT”. Helmet is complete with the original cloth trench cover. Housed in its original storage case. A superb example with the fittings retaining much of the fire gilt finish still.

Imperial German Saxon Reserve Enlisted Ranks Pickelhaube, fine example of an other ranks leather pickelhaube with original Saxon reserve other ranks pattern helmet plate to the centre. Saxon pattern reich and state cockades with an original other ranks leather chinstrap. Helmet with circular spike base with domed rivets and other ranks spike. Rear spine and front trim also in brass. Helmet is complete with its original other ranks leather liner. Dresden makers mark to the interior of the shell and dated 1913. Overall a superb example of a Saxon reserve enlisted ranks helmet. Not an easy helmet to locate.

WW2 German Luftwaffe M-35 Pattern Double Decal Steel Combat Helmet, good untouched example of a M-35 pattern Luftwaffe steel combat helmet retaining much of the original Luftwaffe blue paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell. Complete with 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal and original tri-colour decal. Interior of the helmet has the original leather liner and leather chinstrap. Shell stamped “SE66” and batch number “4283”. Rear skirt painted in white with the original owners name “Stelzig”. Good untouched example, some light surface rusting to both the exterior and interior, but original double decal helmets are becoming increasingly hard to find.

WW2 German Luftwaffe M-35 Pattern Double Decal Steel Combat Helmet, untouched as found example of a M-35 pattern steel combat helmet with the remains of the original Luftwaffe 2nd pattern eagle decal and also the national tri-colour decal. Exterior of the shell has remains of the Luftwaffe blue paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell. Helmet has an original leather steel helmet harness carry strap with metal clip fittings for attaching to the combat belt when not in wear. Helmet retains the original leather liner system and the leather chinstrap. Leather liner is dry and some damage to the tongues. White painted name to the rear skirt “Sauer”. Shell is stamped “Q66” and rear skirt “229”. Good untouched as found example.

WW2 German Luftwaffe M-35 Pattern Former Double Decal Steel Combat Helmet, good untouched example retaining much of its original Luftwaffe blue combat paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell. Helmet is complete with its original 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal and clear evidence of removal of the tri-colour from the other side. Complete with the original leather chinstrap. Leather liner with aluminium liner band, interestingly the leather liner has been attached to the liner band using small twist wire, this all appears to be period applied. Shell maker stamp is not clear but the batch number appears to be “43103”. Helmet shows some expected service wear and leather work dry and cracked in places. Overall a good untouched example of a M-35 combat helmet.

WW2 German Luftwaffe Field Division Normandy Camouflaged Steel Combat Helmet, good untouched example of an original M-35 steel combat helmet with a very subdued Normandy pattern three tone camouflage paint finish to the exterior and the interior rim of the shell. Helmet is complete with its original leather liner and aluminium liner band. The leather liner has come away from the band in places. Complete with its original leather chinstrap. Sections of Luftwaffe blue paint can be seen in the interior which is why we have identified this example as Luftwaffe. Helmet shell is stamped “SE68” and batch number appears to be “4966”, however it is not very clear and the stamps are feint. Overall a very good example of an untouched classic Normandy campaign camouflaged steel combat helmet.

WW2 German Luftwaffe M-40 Pattern Steel Combat Helmet, good untouched example retaining much of the original combat paint finish to the exterior of the shell and the Luftwaffe blue paint finish to the interior. Helmet has the remains of the original Luftwaffe 2nd pattern eagle decal, approximately 55%. Attached to the helmet is a original Luftwaffe blue canvas bread bag strap, these were often used to assist with camouflaging helmets, especially during the Normandy campaign. Helmet is complete with its original leather liner system and leather chinstrap. Shell is stamped “ET64” and “1123” to the rear skirt. Helmet shows some honest service wear, some flaking and small areas of damage to the liner system, but generally still a good example.

WW2 German Luftwaffe Afrikakorps (D.A.K) Camouflaged Steel Combat Helmet, good example of a M-40 pattern steel combat helmet which retains much of its original tropical camouflage paint finish to the exterior of the shell. Under the paint you can make out the original Luftwaffe 2nd pattern helmet decal. The helmet is fitted with an original leather carry harness strap which allowed the helmet to be clipped to the combat belt when not being worn. Interior retains the original Luftwaffe blue paint finish. Original leather liner to the interior and 1942 dated leather chinstrap. Liner is inked with original owners name. Rear skirt of the shell is painted in white “H. Th.” Shell is stamped with “Q6-“ and batch number appears to be “1198”, however first number is obscured. Some rusting to the harness clips but generally a good example of a North Africa or Mediterranean theatre camouflaged steel helmet.

WW2 German Luftwaffe M-42 Steel Combat Helmet, good untouched example of a M-42 raw edge pattern steel combat helmet retaining much of the original dark blue paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell. Complete with 55% of the original Luftwaffe 2nd pattern eagle decal. Complete with the original leather liner to the interior and leather chinstrap. Shell stamped to the rear “hkp68” and “0395”. Some wear to the leather liner on the forehead section but generally still a good untouched example.

WW2 German Luftwaffe Paratroopers (Fallschirmjager) Steel Helmet, superb example of the late type paratrooper combat helmet without decal and with the more flared edge. Helmet is complete with almost all of its original combat paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell. Helmet has the correct late type spanner bolts, which is how it should be for this model. Helmet has been fitted with a Luftwaffe blue cloth bread bag strap, this was common practice by paratroopers during the Normandy campaign to help attach camouflage. The helmet is complete with the original special pattern leather liner system which is complete and nicely stamped. Original full leather chinstrap harness with the original buckles and press snaps. Shell is stamped “ckl 68”. Some obvious service wear, but overall a very good example of a desirable steel helmet.

The helmet is a non-decaled example. Complete with its original brown leather liner system and leather chinstrap. Helmet liner has become dry and cracked in places, a oil protectorate has been put on the leather. Shell stamped to the rear “CKL 66” and “4246”. Generally good example.

Kp. 3 Zug 2 Korpot”. Helmet has a leather chinstrap. Royal Air Force Inter War Period 2nd Armoured Car Company Foreign Service Helmet, fine example of a khaki cloth covered foreign service helmet with typical thick folded pagri with RAF cloth pagri flash with brass “2” to the centre. Green cloth lined interior with the original brown leather sweatband. Helmet has some staining and shows some service wear. Number 2 Armoured Car Company RAF was formed on 7th April 1922 in Egypt. The unit was involved in the tensions in Palestine pre-WW2 and in WW2 continued to serve as a ground establishment unit in the North African campaign.

WW2 WAAF Steel Helmet, interesting civilian pattern British steel helmet shell with three pierced dots to the brim of the shell indicating not suitable for front line service. Helmet is painted in the RAF blue / grey with stencilled to the front “RAF” in black. Complete with its 1941 dated liner system and webbing chinstrap. These helmets were issued to members of the female section of the RAF (Women’s Auxiliary Air Force) and also to civilians working on airfields or aircraft establishments under control of the RAF.

Also brown leather USAAF A-11 pattern flight helmet with USAAF stamp to the side and the original ear phones. Set is complete with the original pair of flight goggles and A-14 type oxygen mask set with its original card storage box with illustration of a aviator to the front.
