The National Portrait Gallery has a portrait of Colonel Herries in uniform, a print by Charles Turner, after a painting by John James Halls. Herries, who died in 1819, was buried in Westminster Abbey. For 25 years he was Commandant of the Light Horse Volunteers of the City of London and Westminster, a position which seemed to be something of a family affair.

Edge split, otherwise about very fine and very rare. It is not known for certain whether class J preceded class K or vice versa, and this mule appears to support the hypothesis that class K in fact preceded class J. The style of the lettering on the obverse is also noticeably different from other coins of Raymond Roupen, suggesting that the obverse die was used very early in his coinage.
