An Imperial German pickelhaube, the rear peak stamped with 2 sets of regimental markings and date 1901, one set reads “I.R. 95” in rectangle (95th Infantry Regt, 6th Thuringian Infantry), the other set illegible. QGC (no helmet plate, rosettes, or chin strap, the skull crazed overall, part of the peak rim detached but present).
A Third Reich Army officer’s sword, blade 32” with impressed mark of E Pach & Sohne, Solingen and etched on one side only with eagle and swastika, helmet over crossed rifles, and panels of foliage, the brass hilt with lion’s head pommel with red glass eyes, oak leaf embossed knucklebow, crosspiece and langet with eagle and swastika, and wire bound black grip, in its black painted grey metal scabbard with leather vertical belt hanger having plated spring clip, and portepee with blue wool upper part to the acorn. dating: 1891 provenance: Germany, Long grip with smooth, angled pommel, finely embossed with a big, noble coat-of-arms in the center, placed on flags and under the plumed helmet; below a metallic ring-nut with dedication in German 'Die Fuchscorona i. l. Fuchsmajor K. Twele FMFW.... 91'. Wooden, cylindrical haft with white metal chape. length 91.5 cm.
dating: provenance: Europe, Impressive bronze, portraying a king in an armor on horseback. The helmet richly decorated with a mask among floral motifs, surmounted by a bird and plumage. The Order of the Golden Fleece on the neck, the shoulders with lion's heads, a stick in the right hand, and reins in the left, a sword in a scabbard on the left side. The horse with bridle, saddle and harness. On a marble base (a rift). Beautiful bronze with finest details. dimensions 71 x 73 x 35 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: France, Straight blade of triangular section with hollow facets; brass hilt with shell-guard decorated with a trophy in bass-relief, quillon and guard with floral motifs, pommel shaped as antique plumed helmet; wooden, checkered grip, with mother-of-pearl plaque in the center. Leather scabbard with brass mounts. length 88 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Europe, Finely relieved and pierced. With laurel and oak branches, cartouches and flag trophy and banners to surround it all. One of the flags with rampant lion, the other with Greek cross. Crossed arms in the bottom part, such as spears, maces, a cannon and two swords. A shield loaded on an anchor on the background. A winged helmet to surmount it all. Provided with metallic, support bar. height 34 cm.
dating: 17th Century provenance: Indopersia, Coat of mail composed of iron, riveted rings, thicker mails and more dense on the breast-plate, sleeves with thinner mails to facilitate the movement. Neck-line with front opening and turn-up on the back. Long sleeves. Long leg protection, provided with central opening both on the front and on the back. With iron helmet (probably later), the skull richly engraved with warriors on horseback inside the cartouches with floral weave (one repair). Chape at the peak, sliding nose-piece in the front part (screw to be repaired) and two plume-holders. Complete with iron mail neck-defense in simple rings. On an exhibition mannequin. height as shown circa 160 cm.

A German helmet with remains of Wehrmacht decal, leather lining and chin strap, no.22036 to interior, a South African mkII helmet with leather lining, stamped 'Jager-Rand 1942', with canvas chin strap, three military style berets, two caps, to include camouflage example and a policeman type helmet (8). CONDITION REPORT The German and South African helmets both extensively worn, the remains of the decal are stated, chin strap of German example possibly replaced, similar condition to the South African helmet, the chin strap has become detached to sone side and the lining is loose, otherwise general commensurate with age to the remaining items, the policeman type helmet is lacking the badge to the front and appears to be a reproduction, as do several other berets and caps.
