CONDITION REPORT: There are some losses to front central visor and rear lobster tail left section as well as further splits and losses throughout, and a white residue both to outer and inner sections.

CONDITION REPORT: The helmet with extensive surface wear including scratches and dents throughout, and evidence of possible repair work to upper right.

A late 19th/early 20th century Royal Artillery black cloth ball topped helmet with brass RA badge and rose motif mounts, marked to interior '7' (lacking chin guard). CONDITION REPORT: Extensive staining/discolouration and distress to internal leather band, some fraying and patching to internal cloth work, some minor fraying to outer stitch work and some thinner areas of cloth covering.

An early 20th century United States leather fireman's helmet by Cairns & Brother, with gilt brass eagle finial and plain frontage, the body with tooled detail, interior approx 19.5 x 14.5cm, with remains of original paper label to interior. CONDITION REPORT: Distress to leather throughout with substantial areas of loss to outer layer, similar wear to underside, discolouration and fraying to stitch work on interior leather liner.

CONDITION REPORT: Surface wear to black painted finish throughout as well as applied Luftschutz decal and interior stamped German language label, helmet with fittings for but lacking internal lining and chin strap as stated in description, also there are areas of repainting to helmet outer and inner surfaces.

CONDITION REPORT: Helmet looks to have been re-painted/touched up at some point, some chips and scratches to paint work and distress to internal liner, chin strap possibly replaced.

Four British Royal Fusiliers helmets, each with applied front badge and central ridge, two retaining their leather linings and chin straps (4). CONDITION REPORT: Two lacking liners and chin straps as stated, general surface wear including some corrosion and some discolouration throughout, one badge is of a different colour to the helmet and could possibly be a later replacement, viewing recommended.
