Three Heraldic paintings to include a painting of The Arms of Bragdon of London, confirmed in a visitation of 1568 and taken from a late 16th Century manuscript entitled Arms of Knights made by Queens Mary & Elizabeth, the shield with a lion to the centre, a knight's helmet above the shield, the helmet surrounded by cartouche, 'Bragdon of London' inscribed above, 16.5cm x 10cm, a painting with a shield with a red cross and four leaves and red and gold stripes, a knight's helmet above, a red boar with a leaf in its mouth above, surrounded by scrolling flowers and cartouche, with the inscription 'AMOR DUCIT PATRIAE' and a painting with an early 19th Century painting of The Arms of Orrell of Turton in Lancashire (descended from 2nd son of Nicholas Orrell, Ref: Visitation of 1613), the shield with red dots and stripes and a deep navy border, a knight's helmet above the shield, with the head of a lion emerging from a red crown above, surrounded by elaborate cartouche, with gilt details, with the inscription 'FORTUNA ME ADIUVAT' below, in an Italian style frame, 18cm x 20cm (3) All with signs of wear consistent with age and use. A rare and unusual mid 20th Century 1958 hand carved and painted panel sign / arms crest depicting The Royal Coat Of Arms Of The 'Parminters' family. A half eagle displayed or in a choice azure, a salter Gules with four meshes of a net voided S in a field ARGENT, bearing on their crest a helmet with an arm armed with a gantlet holding a broken sword. Pommel & Hilt upwards. The motto - DEO FAVENTE. Carved and hand painted by VE Candey of Leamington Spa for Gordon Parminter Esq. Measures: 64cm x 30.5cm.
Three early 20th century continental delftware blue & white chargers, to include one featuring a young girl with a light bulb marked to verso 'Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles Specially Made for Philips Lighting', another featuring Rembrandt's 'Man met de Gouden Helm / The Man with the Golden Helmet', marked 'Delft blauw made in Holland', and the third featuring a village scene signed J.
