WW2 British MKII Steel helmet with smooth green paint finish. Size 7 liner by Vero dated 1938. Complete with chinstrap which is named to "W. Scholey". Fitted with a scarce anti gas curtain. W Scholey, air raid warden, Barnsley. Mr Scholey was a teacher, he was 57 years old at the outbreak of war.
