WW2 Essex Yeomanry Regimentally Marked Steel Combat Helmet, good combat worn example with painted regimental colours to the side, believed to be that of the Essex Yeomanry. Rough combat paint finish to the exterior of the shell. Some dents to the top of the shell. Helmet is missing its liner system and chinstrap. Good untouched example.
Victorian 107th Regiment of Foot Officers 1878-81 Helmet Plate, fine gilt metal eight pointed star with Victorian crown replacing the top point, laurel spray and garter with gilt 107 mounted on black velvet backing. Three lug fittings to the reverse of the plate. Remains in very good condition.
1938 Royal Air Force “Bombay Bowler” Foreign Service Helmet, fine khaki cloth covered cork bodied helmet with twelve fold cloth pagri having RAF ribbon to the side. Interior with leather sweatband and cloth lining system. Paper manufactures label to the inside with clear 1938 date. Thin brown leather chinstrap still attached to the helmet. Shows light signs of service wear but overall a very nice example.
Victorian Yorkshire Dragoons Troopers 1871 Pattern Dress Helmet, white metal shell with other ranks pattern Victorian crowned helmet plate, white metal border to the lower section of the shell with fine relief of leaves. Rose pattern side bosses holding leather backed linked chinstrap. Cross base with spike fitting and white horse hair plume with top rosette fitting. Helmet retains the original other ranks pattern leather liner, which is now dry and flaking in places. A few minor scratches and dents to the shell but overall a very nice example.
Framed Commemorative Citation Detailing the History of Imperial German Soldiers First World War Service, printed images around the edge of the citation of Imperial German soldiers, aircraft, Zeppelin, Battleships, U-Boats etc with eagle perched on steel helmet with Imperial German standards coming out from the centre. The citation has inked details of the service of Hermann Wehmeyer who served in various Artillery regiments and was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd class and Friedrich August medal 2nd class. Housed in a period glazed frame measuring 58 x 44 ½ cms. Accompanied by an elaborate printed citation for the Hamburg Cross award, with image of the award to the bottom and large Iron Cross to the centre a kneeling German soldier. (2 items)
Victorian 2nd Administration Battalion Lincolnshire Rifle Volunteers Other Ranks Helmet Plate, white metal eight pointed star helmet plate with the top point being replaced by Victorian crown, laurel spray, garter strap containing regimental details and French horn to the centre. Three lug fittings to the reverse of the plate.
Third Reich Period Luftschutz Gladiator Pattern Steel Helmet, with dark blue / black paint finish to the exterior. Original Luftschutz decal to the front is now absent. Complete with a leather sweatband to the interior and large pad to the crown. Complete with damaged chinstrap. Accompanied by a German civilian pattern helmet complete with the original liner system but a modern post war Army decal has been applied to the side; German Post War civilian pattern helmet with liner and chinstrap and a reproduction M16 pattern steel helmet with Third Reich style liner. WW2 Factory / Company Workers Steel Helmet, black painted standard British helmet shell with painted P yellow lightning bolt II and decaled winged V within a crown. Helmet is complete with the original liner system to the interior and webbing chinstrap. Helmet is an untouched example with some paint loss, surface rusting and pitting. Cellar found item.
Victorian Royal Sussex Regiment Volunteers Officers Helmet Plate, white metal eight pointed star with the top point being replaced with Victorian crown, laurel spray, garter strap with silver gilt and enamel regimental plumed badge to the centre on black velvet backing. Lower three part scroll affixed to the laurel spray with “THE ROYAL SUSSEX REGT” within. Three lug fittings to the reverse of the plate.
Rare 1st Gulf War Period Iraqi Fedayeen Saddam Helmet, black fibre glass body with central ridged cone which runs from the centre over the top of the helmet. Rubber imprinted badge with Arabic writing and map of Iraq. Helmet retains the original liner system to the interior and has correct strap with metal clip. Styled on the helmet worn by Darth Vader in the Star Wars films, these helmets were issued to members of the notorious Fedayeen Saddam, who were Saddam Hussein’s most fanatical supporters and ruthless troops. Commanded by Saddam Hussein’s sons, men from this unit were responsible for carrying out a number of atrocities against their own people and political prisoners etc. The uniform worn by members of the Fedayeen Saddam was all black and was said to strike fear into the population and enemies of Saddam Hussein.
WW2 British 1942 Dated Fibre Rim Paratroopers Helmet, retaining much of the original green combat paint finish. Fibre band to the rim of the outside of the shell. Interior of the helmet has the original 1942 dated leather liner system and early pattern black leather chinstrap harness. Helmet shows service wear. Good scarce early British Paratroopers helmet.

Three lug fittings to the reverse of the plate. Remains in good overall condition.
WW2 Home Front Repair Party Electricity Commanders Steel Helmet, white painted example with RP/E to the front and two thick black bands running over the top. Helmet is complete with the 1938 dated liner system and webbing chinstrap. Some abrasions to the exterior paintwork and one side has had the RP partially covered with a blue paint.

A Staffordshire pottery jug 'Royal Review': of helmet form, the exterior printed in blue with captioned views of the recently crowned Queen Victoria reviewing her troops, the interior and exterior of the rim with a scroll and diaper border, circa 1837, 21 cm high.*Notes An identically decorated jug is illustrated in British Commemoratives, plate 122, page 68. The review was cancelled for security reasons.Owing to a dispute between Lord Melbourne and Queen Victoria the Review was cancelled and never actually took place
