A Vic blue cloth spiked helmet of the 2nd Glamorgan Rifle Volunteers Corps (The Welsh Regt), WM peak binding, top mount and spike, cloth backed chinchain and ear rosettes, HP with “The Welsh” and “2nd Glamorgan RVC” on circle, maker’s name, Pearse & Co London inside, leather liner. Basically GC (minor damage to skull, back peak binding missing, HP reaffixed)
A late 19th century Belgian cuirasier’s helmet, WM skull and peaks, brass peak binding, tall comb, the sides embossed with volutes in laurel wreath border, silver plated grenade to the front, large brass lion head HP, leather backed simulated scale chinstrap, ear roundels bearing bugle horn, red tuft plume in holder to top, falling black hair plume to back, plume holder on left. GC (comb joints AF at back, side plume and lining missing). Plate 3
19th century Meissen pastille burner in the form of two standing putti with a rabbit in a helmet alongside an openwork hutch, on an oval, rustic base, 11.5cm high. Condition Report Fairly dirty throughout. Losses of branches/leaves between two bodies behind the kennel. There is a small mark/possible repair to the left hand side of the young boy's face. Some gilding loss to the base. Otherwise appears ok.
