A rare composite stem candlestick c.1740, the deep moulded sconce raised on a baluster knop enclosing a row of tears, raised on a Silesian pedestal stem set into triple mereses over a basal teared knop, all over a panel moulded helmet foot, 21.1cm. Provenance: a private collection from West Yorkshire. Purchased from Hotspur Ltd., 27th February 1968.
A rare composite stem glass candlestick c.1740, the deep sconce set into a waisted annulated knop above a knop enclosing a row of tears, over an inverted Silesian stem above further annulated knops enclosing a beaded knop, all raised on a moulded helmet foot, a chip to the foot, 25.2cm. Provenance: a private collection from West Yorkshire. Purchased from Hotspur Ltd. on 27th February 1968.

First commisioned in 1861 with rank of Ensign, and served consistantly with the Regt. In 1871 he was serving in Newport in 1st Battalion, 23rd (Royal Welch Fusiliers) Regiment of Foot
WW2 Third Reich Reichsfinanzverwaltung RFV Customs Officials Bayonet with 255mm long fullered single edged blade. Makers trademark on blade of a Fire Helmet attributed to retailer "WFP". Leather washer. Plain Stag Horn Grips. Working release stud. Red felt insert to bayonet slot. Overall length 380mm. Leather Scabbard with metal mounts. Scabbard throat is correctly marked "RFV". Complete with correct pattern brown leather frog.
WW2 Third Reich Luftwaffe Fallschirmjager M38 Steel Helmet. Dark Tan Camo paint finish thickly brush applied over the original field grey factory finish, believed for the Italian / Southern Front. Early pattern spanner bolts. Shell is maker and size marked "ET68". Lot number marked "5050". Original liner which has makers ink stamp. Original chinstrap with "Stocko" marked press stud.
WW2 Third Reich Luftwaffe M35 Normandy Camo Double Decal Steel Helmet. Shell is maker marked along with size number "SE62". Lot number marked "4284". Complete with liner on early pattern aluminium liner band with square chinstrap bales. No chinstrap. Decals have been dug from beneath the field applied camo paint.
