Helmet plate does not sit correctly, probably a replacement. Some flaking to the surface of the leather liner. Plume has been trimmed.

VAT)Condition Report: The basket is an honourable wreck with many repairs and losses, BUT no damage to the unsiged panel (bar a small amount of gilded border missing). No damages to Newhall.

We have not handled one previously, but perhaps there may have been a covering to the the air vent. The main value here appears to be the badge.
