A George III engraved silver helmet shaped cream jug, on square foot, Soloman Hougham, London, 1796, 15cm, 3.6oz.Possibly later decoration and engraved initials. No repairs or splits. A few small bumps and dings in places. Some tarnishing in places. Hallmarks clear but with some slight rubbing.

A Parian Ware Figure of Hermes About to Slay Argos,19th Century, possibly Copenhagen, the god seated with pan pipes in his left hand, his right with the sword which he uses to slay Argos, obtaining the epithet Argeiphontes, 20.5insThe base measures 8.25ins square x 2ins high. The wing to helmet, his natural left side, is detached but present. The wing to the opposing side is made up and maybe a completely new element. There are a few very small scattered firing cracks. There is a miniscule chip to the bottom left front edge of the base.
