A Relic condition British MKII steel helmet recovered from the battlefield below the monastery at Monte Cassino, Italy, in 1976. Together with a photocopy from ATB13 magazine recording the discovery, with a photograph and caption of the helmet. Possibly worn by a British, Indian or Gurkha soldier. Battle damaged. Part of a private collection being sold.
A German M40 military helmet, bearing 'SS' decal, the leather interior no.58 and with further no.36 and 6166 to the helmet, length 29cm.Additional InformationThe helmet has been refurbished and the decal is possibly repainted or later applied. There are a few surface knocks but overall presented in good condition.

A George III silver teapot, George Smith (IV), London 1804, octagonal form with reeded and chased borders, ebony finial, later handle, 6¾in. (17.2cm.) high; together with a George V helmet cream jug, Chester 1915, gross weight 17.1 tr.oz. (2) * - Teapot: Marks to base good but dings and dents throughout. old soldered repairs. Crease to lower spout. Handle a later composition replacement. - Cream jug: Spout has been creased and split either side. Several dents.
A George V 5th Royal Irish Lancers, Cavalry Troopers full dress uniform and chapka: the black patent skull with red and gold cloth to the upper section with gilt brass mounts and black horse hair plume, gilt brass repousse helmet plate with regimental crest and battle honours, lions masks cockades and chain mail chin strap, blue cloth tunic with plastron, collar and cuffs in scarlet, two rows of regimental buttons, yellow cord aguillette, label to interior ' Royal Army Clothing Factory' and dated 'March 1914' , with red and white stable belt, the overalls of blue cloth with double yellow stripes to seams.
An early 20th century Merryweather pattern auxiliary fire helmet converted as a smokers companion: the plated helmet separated into two sections, the upper skull cover with oak decorated comb and circular 'MVFB' helmet plate, rosette cocakdes and chain mail chin strap, enclosing a fitted platform with drum tobacco jar and cover, matchbox and cigarette holder and ashtray, the lower peak and lobster tail section fitted button release and hinge, 26cm high.
WW2 Style German RAD Labour Service Steel Helmet, M-42 pattern steel combat helmet with a rough textured paint finish, RAD swastika decal to the side. Interior with a leather liner and leather chinstrap. Shell stamped with markings but these are not clear. This helmet is a post war refurbished example with original parts, sold as such.
