French 1910 Cavalry Pattern Trooper’s Helmet. A good example of the pattern of helmet worn at the outbreak of the Great War in 1914. Silvered skull, with brass line edging. To the front a brass helmet plate embossed with a flaming grenade device. To the left side a brass plume holder supports a replacement cut feather plume of scarlet. To the crown, is a gilt metal comb, to each side floral leaf decoration. The front is with a Medusa’s head looking forward, from the comb a flowing black horse hair plume. A pair of plain domed circular bosses support a set of leather backed brass chin scales. The interior with leather lining. Overall GC leather interior dry to parts. A similar helmet can be seen in “Military Headdress” By Robert. H. Rankin. Page 70. illustration 117.
Badge. East Surrey Regiment Officer’s helmet plate circa 1904-14. A fine gilt example of universal pattern, the black velvet centre with a silver star bearing Arms of Guildford. Silver tri-part scroll “The East Surrey Regt” to the base of the wreath. Three loops to reverse. VGC Scrolls read “The East Surrey Regt” 1881-91; “The East Surrey Regiment” 1891-1904; “The East Surrey Regt” 1904-14.

A fine and scarce silvered example of universal pattern, the black velvet centre mounted with a star bearing Maltese cross with stag on replacement blue non vitreous centre. Mounted on the base of the wreath, a tri-part scroll “The Bedfordshire Regiment” with supplementary scroll below inscribed “3rd Volunteer Battalion”. Three loops to reverse. VGC HQ Bedford.

Jorge Lorenzo 2015 race-worn HJC helmet with signed visor, a matt black, RPHA controlled-ventilation design race helmet, the dark visor with white marker pen signature, his 'round the outside' white halo and central red cross motif on top, incorporating Monster Energy logos and motifs, also bearing Eurasian Bank logos front and rear, the latter replacing the usual Spartan helmet motif, complete with personalised 'JL' pattern removable lining, Lorenzo, size and warning labels attached, the helmet strap with E1 certification, original helmet bag. This presents a rare opportunity to obtain a genuine race-worn example of a helmet used early in the this year's MotoGP season by one of the year's three - now just two - serious World Championship contenders, quite possibly the eventual winner.
Val Musetti 1989 race-worn Shoei helmet with two racesuits and accessories, a white Shoei helmet with replica Wayne Gardner design in blue, gold and red, FISA/ ACU approved, with visor and helmet bag; two Nomex racesuits by 'Formula One', each bearing his embroidered name and blood group, one in plain red with Champion and Goodyear logo patches, the other in black with red trimming, a Yokohama logo patch on the right breast, the belt with FIA approval patch, a pair of 'Monza' driving boots from Adidas, two pairs of gauntlet gloves from Kiwi and Nomex, also a Nomex balaclava and vest; sold with a digital image of the red suit in use and a 1987 Spa circuit map with personal notation (qty.). In the 1980s Val Musetti raced sportscars internationally, including a Porsche 962 in the FIA World Sportscars Championship, and competed at Le Mans. He was Christopher Reeve's stunt double in Superman I & II and appeared in many other Hollywood films, including Batman and James Bond.

In the 1970s Valentino Musetti was well known to spectators as the driver who did the stunts in the film 'The Italian Job', the original version starring Michael Caine. Although this stunt work paid for his motor racing, filming schedules regularly disrupted any championship chances, though driving the Dave Price Racing March-Ford V6, he came close to winning the 1977 Shell Sport series, in which these items were used.
