A samurai armour dating: 19th Century provenance: Japan Zunari kabuto in black with three-plate iron hachi, the central one with a row of rivets on each side provided with a large, cusped head, the rear plate with a row of rivets en suite. Gilt tehen, in one piece; fukigaeshi with leather covering and brass border with mokko-mon with blackened ground; five-plate black hineno-shikoro. Helmet probably not coeval. Wooden maedate depicting Oni chiselled and partially lacquered in red, black and gold, with a crescent-shaped brass plaque on the back. Wakidate of stag horns, lacquered in black, featuring remains of gilding. Complete with hikimawashi (bad weather cover) of bleached hair. Iron menpo with brown, rough lacquer on the outside, with mustaches; four-plate yodare-kake lacquered in brown, dark blue lace. Iron do with brown lacquer, with sand, purple and blue lace, provided with gilt brass mounts and small mokko-mon; the inside surface partially lacquered, with leather lining. Five-plate kusazuri with blue and sand lace, brown lacquer smooth on the outside and rough on the inside; the back provided with a hook and a support for the sashimono. Iron sode with brown lacquer smooth on the outside and rough on the inside, lace en suite with the do. Embroidered, fabric kote with iron plaques on the elbows. Replaced haidate with black plaques and fabric depicting geometrical motifs. Suneate with iron plaques and embroidered, green fabric. Small parts of lacquer missing. Sashimono of gilt wood, on a cylindrical haft. Complete with gusoku-bitsu. Late Edo period. dimensions: height come presentata 161 cm.

The top repaired. With a triple plume-holder at the front. Sloping brim with strengthened margin held by copper rivets. Two loops with rings at the lower part. A very interesting and rare flintlock pistol in roman style dating: 17th Century provenance: Central Italy Long, smooth, round, 11 mm cal. barrel with square base and rib signed "GIACOM ZAMBONET", the base engraved with trophies and decorated with chiselled rings, the nozzle with brass moulded muzzle; on the tang the effigy of a man with helmet and sword in brass. Roman style flintlock with beautiful engravings and chiselling, at the end a high-relieved mask, another one on the batterie, at the inside surface of the plate the monogram "P.R.". Fine, wooden stock with peculiar, brass mounts featuring bas -and high-relived decorations; the counter-plate pierced with mythical animals, the trigger guard with the effigy of a bearded man with a flower on the forehead, under the barrel the effigy of a figure holding a face; butt-plate with large mask, the back with a face and mythical figures with mask and feathers. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor. Iron belt hook. dimensions: length 49.5 cm.

HOPFE" and "A MALMEDY" in silver, the base engraved with floral motifs and silver frames, slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, with foresight; tangs engraved with monogram "M" in a silver frame; backward spring locks finely engraved with floral motifs; wooden stocks, the muzzle carved with shell, the back with a knightly emblem featuring a sleeping hound on a shield with granulated ground, surmounted by a helmet, surrounded by floral motifs; silver mounts; butt-plate with lion heads, counter-plates with hound and wolf; triggers with set triggers. In a not pertinent, wooden case covered with leather and lined with green cloth, with brass mounts; complete with all tools except from a small one. With key. dimensions: length 33.5 cm.

Four-plate gorget, the upper plates provided with thick, twisted roping. Chest-plate ribbed at the centre, wide neckline with twisted roping; the back-plate slightly hollow at the centre, provided with loin-guard with recessed margin and twisted roping. A black and white cuirassier armour dating: second quarter of the 17th Century provenance: Southern Germany Closed helmet with skull in one piece, ribbed at the centre (a reparation on one side); pointed, raisable brim with hemmed border; ventail with sight and rectangular air holes; beaver with hooks; neck -and nape-guard with twisted roping; the surface painted in black while the borders haven't been coloured; restored, brass rivets. One-plate groget, brass rivets. Chest-plate ribbed at the centre, slightly projecting, neckline with thick, smooth roping; under the neckline remains of two stamps, one depicting a shield (Nuremberg?) and a rectangular one; smooth flange; gussets en suite with the neckline. Back-plate slightly hollow at the centre, with smooth roping, not coloured, the remaining surface in black. Nine-plate pauldrons, ribbed at the centre and connected to the upper arm though a relieved decoration; with recessed margin provided with smooth roping and blackened surface; brass rivets; on the upper part of both pauldrons the stamp "HB". Complete brassards; provided with elbow-pieces with central raiser, recessed bands and borders with smooth roping. Gauntlets with cuff decorated with raisers at the margins, eight plates at the back, scaled fingers; old gloves at the inside, brass rivets. Tassets held by buttons, with detachable knee-cops provided with wings; white borders, black surface. The armour is complete with a display pedestal, presented with a historicism rapier. dimensions: height totale circa 185 cm.
A rare helmet and armour parts dating: 18th Century provenance: China Silver-plated, metallic skull of conical shape, decorated with beautiful, gilt brass mounts, at the top a plume-holder resting on a bulb-shaped, pierced base featuring a cabochon glass stone, small brim with pierced and engraved dragons, two more plaques depicting dragons near the central mount, this one too provided with a red glass cabochon; provided with fabric nape-guard and cheek-pieces (some damages and parts missing), lined with light blue silk, the external surface of polychrome fabric, with brass studs and one plaque. Together with two gilt brass mounts decorated en suite with the helmet, probably part of the same armour suite. dimensions: height elmo circa 55 cm.
