Alongside Paul Withers, Sandy Harper and Michael Hare he played at Guards Polo Club against Prince Philip and Prince Charles.

Of woollen construction with brass epaulets, buttons and number 86, the buttons showing the Wallesey coat of arms stamped National Fire Brigade Association, together with a Victorian ash truncheon, Metropolitan patant whistle, later Devon fire brigade helmet and a range of fire fighting related books including a Leyland fire engine manual and Manchester Fire Brigade by Robert F Bonner etc.

The lining has deteriorated on the 3rd Dragoon Guards example. There is general frazzling and discoloration to the horse hair on both plumes commensurate with age. With dust and would benefit from a clean.
WW2 Third Reich Waffen SS M40 Single Decal Steel Helmet with Chicken Wire Basket Cover in restored condition. Maker and size marked "EF68". Lot number marked "9987". Original liner and drawstring. Fitted with a modern reproduction leather chinstrap. Decal is very abraded and originality hard to judge given condition.
