The Duke of Sussex, with straight single edged blade, length approx 81cm, retaining some blue and gilt decoration, including royal arms, trophy of arms and crowned fowled anchor (some pitting), the brass stirrup hilt with anchors to langets, lion`s head pommel and wire bound ivory grip (quillion missing) with leather knot, in its brass mounted leather scabbard (defective, one loop missing, chape broken off but present).

There is also a photocopy letter sent from Nairobi August 1938 detailing the hunting trip, and two photocopies of photographs showing the hunters with this trophy animal.

THE FOLLOWING LOT RELATES TO CAREER NICK FALDO, GENERAL ACCIDENT, CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE, SEPTEMBER 1989, A WHITE-METAL QUAICH, the body inscribed GA, Champions Challenge, Walton Heath, 5th September, 1989, on square-stepped hardwood base, 7in. (17.8cm) overall; a hole-in-one trophy and ball, autographed by Nick Faldo and inscribed by Nick Faldo, Hole in One, 5-9-89; and video and photograph of the event (4). The above Quaich was awarded to Nick Faldo for winning the challenge match. The match was between Scott Hoch, Sandy Lyle and Ian Woosnam. The hole-in-one was achieved by Nick Faldo on the 9th hole during the match. Nick Faldo gave both of the items to the vendor after the match who was there at the invitation of "Dreams Come True".
