A silver two handled trophy, George Adams, London 1874, with foliate scroll cap handles and engraved band scrolls, decorative cartouche with inscription "Sunset Points Winner Ambleside 1947, Presented by Owner Harry Ingham to His Excellent Trainer Ben Pattinson", vacant cartouche verso, raised on a beaded knop stem and circular foot. Height 25 cm.

No. 700773, engraved for Manoh Rhodes & Sons as retailers, the compressed ball finial with stiff leaf band, the waisted domed cover with shells and the quarters and quatrefoil rims, leaf-capped S-scroll handles, the quatrefoil girdle with bearded masks issuing from shells at intervals, the waisted pedestal with a quatrefoil band to the knop, the circular base on four shell centred bracket feet, presentation engraved to the cover, 29cm (11 1/2in) high, 761.5g (24.48 oz), on a turned wood socle labelled Manoah Rhodes & Sons Ltd, Bradford The inscription reads Presented by The Tapestry Manufacturers Association To Mr & Mrs J. G. Stewart to commemorate their Golden Wedding Day. May 30th 1927 . Later inscribed Cynric Puleston Prescot - Constance Margaret Stewart 29th January 1920-1970 . Brigadier Cynric Puleston Prescot, CBE, MA MiCE was born in 1886.

An English smallsword, c 1775, colichmarde blade 32”, faintly etched with trophy of arms and instruments on the broad face at forte and various devices on the 2 upper faces, steel hilt with scalloped edge and a little engraving to top of small oval dish guard, pas d’ane rings, crossguard with quillon, slightly swollen knucklebow, multi facetted ovoid pommel, simulated copper wirebound grip. WW2 Third Reich Hunting Cutlass. Worn and rust pitted 22cm blade maker marked "JA Henkels, Solingen" with only small fragments of etched decoration now visable. Complete with black leather scabbard along with horn handle skinning knife with 10cm blade (no makers mark) Horn grip, Clamshell guard. All fitings in brass. War Trophy of a member of the Gurhka Rifles. Used by him post war.

Nastase won the US and French open in 1972 1nd 1973 respectively. Signed 8 x 12 photograph, the image depicting Nastase in a head and shoulders pose celebrating his victory; John Newcombe (1944- ) Australian tennis Player. Newcombe is one of the few players to have attained a World Nº 1 ranking in both singles and doubles. He won 26 Grand Slam titles during the 70´s. A good colour 8 x 12 photograph showing Newcombe in a full length pose in action. A good bold ink signature example; Jan Kodes (1946- ) Czech tennis Player. Kodes won three singles Grand Slam titles between 1970 and 1973. Signed 10 x 8 photograph by Kodes, the image depicting the Rolland Garros winner holding the trophy and in action full length pose (2), and Stan Smith (1946- ) American tennis Player. Former World number one. Smith won the 1971 US open over Jan Kodes, and the 1972 Wimbledon over Ilie Nastase. Signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph, the image shoeing Smith in a head and shoulders pose kissing the trophy. All are boldly signed to clear areas of the images. VG,5 £80-100
