:AN 18-BORE FLINTLOCK SPORTING GUN, late 18th century, with shortened 25 7/8in. two-stage twist sighted barrel signed 'LONDON' on the octagonal breech section, flat bevelled unsigned engraved lock with stepped tail, raised pan and roller, walnut three-quarter stock with chequered grip, horn fore-end cap, brass mounts including trophy of arms side-plate and trigger-guard with acorn finial, later brass-mounted ramrod, London proof marks.

:A 12-BORE PERCUSSION SPORTING RIFLE, PROBABLY FRENCH, mid-18th century, converted from flintlock, with 38 1/4in. round barrel with almost full length sighting flat and rifled with eight grooves, silver fore-sight, the stepped breech with silver inlaid cypher surrounded by scrollwork with a trophy of arms and a figure of Victory above, rounded lock chiselled in low relief with scrollwork on the tail and with further inlaid cypher, walnut full stock with chequered grip and raised cheek-piece, brass mounts decorated with scrollwork and foliage, the butt-plate tang with an image of a hunter in contemporary costume holding a gun with a dog at his feet, iron sling mounts, horn fore-end cap, and original horn-tipped ramrod.
