Measuring 10 cm x 8 cm and in the original presentation box by GDE Bertoni of Milan. The plaque was produced by GDE Bertoni Milano, the famous Trophy and Medal manufacturer in Italy who produced the FIFA World Cup Trophy in 1971 and has the maker stamp engraved to the reverse side (GDE Bertoni Milano) entitled ''FIFA World Cup Spagna '82 - Italia Campione Del Mondo - F.I.G.C.''. A GOOD 25-BORE PERCUSSION CONVERTED FROM FLINTLOCK DUELLING PISTOL BY MORTIMER, CIRCA 1800/35, no visible serial number, with 10in. octagonal sighted barrel, the top flat engraved 'MORTIMER LONDON GUN-MAKER TO HIS MAJESTY', foliate scroll engraved fixed breech, borderline engraved and bevelled lock with stepped tail engraved with martial trophies and fitted with a bolt safety, the centre with some foliate engraving carried out at time of conversion when original makers name would have been removed, the percussion hammer is also foliate scroll engraved, full walnut stock with chequered curving grip the pommel carved in a shell motif, iron trigger-guard, the bow engraved with a trophy of arms, set trigger, a quality conversion with the fitting of a new breech with integral nipple bolster and not the usual and cheaper drum and nipple system.

HENSHAW' below the pan, swan necked cock, walnut full-stock (right side of fore-end tip restored), shell carving behind the top-tang, brass furniture including trophy escutcheon and stand of arms sideplate, bulbous butt-cap with long side-spurs (mask absent), acorn finial and replacement ramrod.

NOCK LONDON', the fixed breech engraved with a sunburst and with the release for the bayonet, lock engraving worn and partially refreshed and spuriously engraved 'NOCK', matching replacement hammers, the pistol has been converted to percussion by the drum and nipple system, walnut half stock with chequered butt (worn) iron mounts include a domed iron butt-cap, the trigger-guard engraved with a trophy of arms on the bow and terminating with a pineapple finial, replacement wooden rod.

AN INTERESTING AND RARE .44 COMBINATION FLINTLOCK AND PERCUSSION POCKET PISTOL BY MABSON, LABRON & MABSON, CIRCA 1830, no visible serial number, 2in. turn-off Birmingham proofed barrel, boxlock action, the right side engraved with a trophy of arms and on the left the with the makers name 'MABSON, LABRON & MABSON', can be fired by either flintlock or percussion means of ignition, the lower jaw of the flint cock is adapted to function as a percussion hammer to strike a nipple located just in front of the touch-hole, the action with a bar safety that locks the cock, one piece slab sided grips.

EGG' inlaid in gold, and with an inlaid gold band at the breech, fixed breech engraved with martial trophies, bevelled borderline engraved lock with stepped tail and bolt safety, some foliate decoration together with a sunburst and the name 'D. EGG' engraved to the centre, foliate engraved hammer, the conversion is by the drum and nipple system, the face of the drum engraved to match the lock, full walnut stock, the rounded grip decorated with hatching, the iron mounts include trigger-guard engraved with a martial trophy and some foliate decoration and terminates with a pineapple finial, with replacement wooden rammer.
