A George V Silver Trophy-Cup, Maker's Mark Worn, Probably by Charles Stuart Harris, London, 1910, the bowl tapering and on spreading foot, with two angular handles, engraved with an inscription, 20cm high, 23oz 10dwt, 731grThe inscription reads 'Garrison Athletic Sports Dalhousie 1913 Inter Regimental Cup Won by 1st Batt Lancashire Fusiliers'. A George V silver agricultural trophy, of flattened and dished circular form with two scrolled handles and raised on a turned column with stepped circular foot engraved with presentation inscription 'Presented by R.Rolph & Co For The Best Fat Cow Fed On Rolph Meal' marks for Birmingham 1925, maker Wilmot Manufacturing Co, 24.5cm x 26.5cm x 19cm 608grams sold together with a rounded rectangular mahogany plinth with baize covered surface, the edge applied with four white metal shields engraved with subsequent winners.
dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: France, Straight blade of hexagonal section, with fuller on three-quarter of its length, with remains of marks at the forte. Gilt brass hilt. Shell-guard depicting an old-fashioned warrior on a trophy of spears, Roman standards and fasces of lictors, two lions at each end. Guard decorated with leaves in relief. Fine pommel worked in the shape of a lion's head. Mother-of-pearl grips (small damaged and missing parts). Leather scabbard (signs of use and time) with gilt brass mounts. length 101 cm.

dating: late 18th Century provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Blade of lozenge section, in dark patina, engraved and gilded with allegorical figure, sun, trophy and floral motifs at the first part. Silver hilt, shell-guard with Savoy eagle between two openwork wheels. Quillon ending with lion's head, loop- guard decorated with floral motifs, heavy pommel shaped as a lion's head on both sides.. Mother-of-pearl grips. Without scabbard. length 86 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Austria, Long, flat, single-edged blade engraved with the image of a wolf at the forte framed by cabalistic numbers and floral motifs. Silver hilt with countercurved quillons ending in a hound's heads, the center of crossguard with a deer's head, and a ring nut hilt at the base of the blade which perfectly enters the scabbard opening. Cap with a hunting scene and ring nut with trophies. Brown horn grip. Wooden scabbard with leather covering, also decorated with beautiful silver mounts. The chape with a compartment for a gun-fork (probably not coeval, yet it is a good match), the rear side of the hilt with an impressive trophy in relief and a mark for the city of Vienna (the date not clearly legible), with the marks 'CA' and 'IR.' Chape (slightly flattened) decorated with similar trophies and marked en suite. length 78,5 cm.

Wooden full stocks sculpted with floral motifs, butts decorated with filigree. Silver mounts, counterplates with lion, trophy and rocaille, trigger guards with floral motifs, front parts with half moon on rays, pommels shaped as a dog's head. Silver marks. Iron-tipped, wooden ramrods with iron cartridge extractors. Silver parts in dark patina. Elegant pair of pistols, probably made for a wealthy Oriental client. length 36.5 cm.

On both sides engraved with mounted hussar, floral and geometric motifs and a trophy of arms with the motto 'Vivat Hussar'. Bronze hilt with langets, large loop-guard and long cap, straight quillon. Leather-covered wooden grip with metal wire binding. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with long brass mounts with remains of gilding, two iron suspension rings and the iron knuckle-guard. Very rare. length 104 cm.
dating: last quarter of the 18th Century provenance: England, Large, curved, single-and-false-edged lade, with wide fuller, engraved at the first part and gilded on a blue background with royal monogram (GR?), trophy and floral motifs. One-quillon iron hilt with round langets and spiral wooden grip with metal wire binding. Leather scabbard heavily damaged and with double breakage, complete with all mounts and two suspension rings. length 94.5 cm.

Long, curved pommel engraved with floral motifs, long cap. Iron scabbard, engraved with a beautiful trophy with mask in the centre and between floral motifs at the front. Two suspension rings on grooved bands. length 103 cm.
dating: 1820-30 provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Interesting, flat, curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with two segments featuring three grooves and the last one with two grooves, richly engraved with symbols, moon, stars, bust of a Turk, trophies and geometric motifs on a gilded background at the first part. Oriental-style hilt with cross quillon, angled pommel engraved with floral motifs (small missing part) and small chain. Ebony handle carved with scales. Beautiful leather-covered wooden scabbard stitched with metal wire and with two large brass mounts engraved with floral motifs and with a decoration depicting a female figure in bas relief with a vase and a trophy of arms. Two suspension rings on bands, a lion's head in relief on the front side and floral motifs in bas relief on the rear side. Very rare. length 89 cm.
