Loyal Dublin Volunteers: a prize medal, 1800, copper gilt engraved oval set within a frame with hinged suspension loop, 39.7 mm, badge with crowned harp and 'LOYAL DUBLIN VOLUNTEERS' and '1ST REGT' set against a trophy of arms with 'EIGHT COMPY' to a banner, 'CAPTN BINNS' below; reverse with presentation inscription: 'Presented by SERJT TRUEMAN and adjudged to MR LEWIS BENNETT for his superior skill IN ARMS 13th July 1800', loss to gilding and slightly dented, but details clear hence very fine. A George Binns is recorded as Captain of the 8th Company of the Stephens Green continent of the Dublin City volunteer infantry.

(Dublin 1975) possibly John Smith or Smyth. All at approximately 44ozs. 37.5cm overall height.

Original vintage motor racing poster for the Silverstone Trophy International Motor Cycle & Cycle Meeting held at the Silverstone circuit, located in Northamptonshire in England. Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England located next to the Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury. Silverstone is the current home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted in 1948. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. The race rotated between Silverstone, Aintree and Brands Hatch from 1955 to 1986, but relocated permanently to Silverstone in 1987. The circuit also hosts the British round of the MotoGP series. The inaugural 1977 British motorcycle Grand Prix, the first motorcycle grand prix to be held on the British mainland, took place at the Silverstone Circuit.
