A 1925 printed silk scarf celebrating the racehorse Manna by Phalaris-Waffles, winner of the Derby, trained by F Darling 1925, ridden by S Donaghue and the property of Mr H E Morriss, featuring a print of a racehorse in mid-flight surrounded by previous winners of the trophy, width 80cm. CONDITION REPORT Repaired to the edge of the reserve, some staining

The Bijouterie Cabinet - A small collection of silver and white metal items, to include a mini-magnifier, miniature trophy, silver and niello decorated bracelet, brooch and pendant, cigar piercer, scissors, miniature button hook, propelling pencil and wax seal. CONDITION REPORT: One very fine silver necklace has knotted with another otherwise the remainder of the jewellery is in good order with no obvious faults. There is a small wax seal within this lot that has small edge chips.

Militaria - eight Elizabeth II military dress medals, to include a group of three with bars for Northern Ireland, Borneo and Cyprus with Military Cross, a further example bar for Cyprus, a group of two with bars for Borneo and Cyprus and two further. Together with a silver cigarette box engraved "Lieutenant J.A. Peel, R.A. from the Officers of 49 Field Regiment Royal Artillery on the occasion of his marriage 20th July 1957", together with a further silver metal mounted trophy ornament inscribed "Major J.A. Peel MC RA from the commandant and Officers Royal School of Artillery 1988". CONDITION REPORT: The medals were awarded under the reign of Elizabeth II. There are no engraved names on the rims. There is no date on the reverse of the Military Cross.

Wells, 24 Condiut St. London, etched for half length with scrolls and foliage, including a trophy of drum, halberd and flag on the inner side, nicely studded and cut steel hilt with turn down shell guard, token pas d'ane rings, crossguard and quillon, knucklebow into urn pommel, slender swollen grip, in its black PL scabbard with line engraved top mount, middle bud and chape, with 2 rings. A composite French sword, curved, shallow fullered blade 28" (tip AF), with maker's initials "...K&...." (unclear) at forte, and etched with a trophy and flourishes on both sides, brass hilt, the slender ovoid guard with reinforced edges and sideloop, into knucklebow and forward sloping cap shaped pommel, with ornamental quillon, bands, and wreath to pommel, wirebound grip. Basically GC (blade some wear and small edge nicks, guard loose, some grip wire missing)

A late 18th century continental hunting sword, straight fullered blade 18½", DE at tip, with maker's initials "K&S" on one side at forte and "Solingen" on the other, and etched with leaping deer, spear and foliate devices for half length, brass crossguard with trophy of horn and weapons in panel on one side, acorn finials, fluted darkwood grip, swollen to matching fluted brass pommel and stud. GC (some wear and edge nicks towards point).

A fine quality Crimean War "Royal Patriotic Fund" printed earthenware jug, relief moulded leaf spout, rim, lion's head handle and foot rim, panelled and printed in red and gold, on one side of the body is a print of a weeping mother and her children in a garden, with the angel above bearing scroll "Royal Patriotic Fund", and on the other side wounded infantrymen being treated on a hillside above Sevastopol (?) harbour, on the base is an elaborate crowned trophy maker's mark of S. Alcock & Co and date January 1 1855, with diamond registration mark for December 1854; height 8", VGC apart from hairline cracks in base, only visible from inside.

A George V solid silver pedestal trophy cup, engraved 'Dunlop Challenge Cup Midland Professional Foursomes. Presented by Dunlop Rubber Company Limited. March 1920'. The reverse engraved with the winners from 1920 to 1931. The winners include Henry Cotton and Archie Compston and the Chairman of the Midland Professionals from 1919 to 1949 GV Tuck. Acanthus-capped flying scroll handles, knopped stem, spreading circular foot, 21.5cm high. Fully hallmarked for Elkington & Co, Birmingham 1919.

Superb solid silver trophy for Leyburn Golf Clubs Challenge Cup trophy presented to the club in 1896. The Cup was won twice in 1912 and 1913 by William Tweddell who went on to win the Amateur Championship in 1927. The Cup was won in 1924, 1926 and 1927 by William Tweddells brother R Tweddell. E Rowntree won the cup in 1909 and became the clubs professional 1913-16. The trophy is hallmarked London 1896-97 and maker DW JW for Daniel and John Wellby. Very good condition.
