Barnard and Sons Ltd, London 1928, compressed circular bowl, mounted with three cast dragons, on a raised circular and triangular base on three paw feet, inscribed 'The Stewards Bowl, Presented by Mashonaland Turf Club Ltd., Hack Race, Run for August 17th 1928', on a wooden plinth with a vacant silver plaque, diameter 32cm, height 28cm, height on stand 35.5cm, approx. weight 79.6oz. Mashonaland Turf Club was founded in 1892 in northern Rhodesia, (now Zimbabwe).
Good 1796 Infantry Officers Sword, straight single edge blade cut with a single fuller, blued and gilt for half length and etched with crowned GR, 1801-1816 royal arms, military trophy, laurel and foliate ornaments and Woolley & Deakin within an oval, regulation gilt brass hilt, folding side guard, silver wire bound grip. Blade 82cms. Good untouched condition, retains most original gilding, blue and gilt partly faded. A large Edwardian silver plate and copper mounted trophy shield for 'First Aid Workshops' 'The Rowden Ambulance Challenge Shield, the shield centre set with an embossed plate - the centre engraved with a scene of an industrial accident with enamelled shield above for the city of Leeds, the border set with eight yearly winners shields from 1906-1914, all on an oak back plate, 76cm x 56cm. Winners names include Kirkstall Forge, Steam Plough Works Leeds, Clarence Iron and Steel Works (4x wins), Scotch Foundry Armley.
A fine quality silver gilt presentation marmeluke sword, makers initials SH, Birmingham, 1818, retailed by Mackay and Cunningham Edinburgh, the blade with blue and gilt presentation inscription, list of subscribers names (indistinct but two may be C. French and F Murray?) and dated 1818 with Royal cipher. (There is a number partly visible with the upper garter type belt - possibly 'The 94th'?) The crosspiece chased with foliage, ivory grip with yellow metal pique work, bullion dress knot, the scabbard mounts engraved with Britannia, trophy of arms, thistle, lion, flowers and 'centurion', suspension loops each in the form of a laurel wreath, sword 90cm. History: The vendor purchased a storage building in Shrewsbury in 1972 and this sword, among other items, came with the acquisition, simply lying on the storage shelves. Here the sword remained until the vendors sold the building many years later when it was removed and stored in a loft.Condition: The sword is very grubby throughout. The blade has various levels of rusting throughout the length. The blue and gilt decoration on the blade is partly visible although it is very hard to read / obscured. The fish skin panels to the scabbard are perished / lacking. The scabbard is slightly bent. Much of the gilt surface to the silver appears to be fair. There are hall marks to the top of the scabbard and the back of the crosspiece. Attention will be needed. (At fault)

Football Ashley Young 12x8 signed colour photo in action for Manchester United. Ashley Simon Young (born 9 July 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger, a wing back or a full back for Premier League club Manchester United and the English national team. Born and raised in Hertfordshire, Young started his career at Watford, making his first senior appearances in 2003 under the management of Ray Lewington. He became a first-team regular in 2004-05 and was one of Watford's key players in their promotion winning 2005-06 season. Young continued to play well for Watford in the Premier League, and in January 2007 he transferred to Aston Villa for an £8 million fee, rising to £9. 65 million with add-ons. He established himself in the first team at Villa Park and won the PFA Young Player of the Year award in 2009. On 23 June 2011, Young signed for Manchester United for an undisclosed fee. He has gone on to win every trophy available in English football, winning the FA Community Shield in 2011, the Premier League in 2013, the FA Cup in 2016 and the EFL Cup in 2017. In May 2017, he won European silverware as part of the United squad that lifted the UEFA Europa League. Phil Neal and Alan Kennedy Liverpool football autographed high quality 16x12 inch photograph. Philip George Neal (born 20 February 1951) is an English retired footballer who played for Northampton Town, Liverpool and Bolton Wanderers as a full back. He is one of the most successful English players of all time, having won eight First Divisions, four League Cups, five FA Charity Shields, four European Cups, one UEFA Cup and one UEFA Super Cup during his eleven years at Liverpool. He later returned to Bolton Wanderers as manager, leading them to victory in the Football League Trophy before spells managing Coventry City, Cardiff City and Manchester City. Neal also had a long career with the England national team, winning 50 caps and playing in the 1982 World Cup. Alan Kennedy (born 31 August 1954) is a former English professional footballer who played the majority of his career as a left back for Newcastle United and then Liverpool. He was a stalwart member of the latter team that won many honours from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. In all Kennedy was active as a professional in England, Denmark, Belgium and Wales, making over 500 appearances in a career that lasted for 22 years.
