A silver figural statue of a winged Britannia, London, raised on an ebonised socle base titled 'Dr Ireland's Trophy', height 32cm overall CONDITION REPORT: The figure appears to have been a finial from another piece which has been re-purposed into a trophy, hallmarks are rubbed slightly, the foliage in her left hand (raised) appears to have been cut or snapped and has left a sharp tip, along with whatever was once in her right hand which has now completely gone. Some minor surface scratching and wear commensurate with age. The piece would benefit from a good and thorough clean. ebonising to the base is worn, current plaque appears to be a later addition and replaces a larger, longer example. Sugeest the piece is a marriage.

'The Victory Cup', a large and impressive Victorian two handled silver trophy and cover, James Deakin & Sons, Sheffield 1897, of twin handled form and profusely embossed with floral bouquets and scrolls surrounding a presentation cartouche titled ' The Victory Cup, Presented to Severn Side Bowling Club by J.Fullwood Esq, June 8th 1946' and a vacant cartouche to the reverse, the cover surmounted with a figural brass terminal, all raised on a knoped stem on a spreading circular base, 73.6ozt gross excluding surmount, with ebonised socle base with two winners collars stamped 'Sterling', height 71cm overall, CONDITION REPORT: Minor wear to the cast brass, bowling figure finial - we believe that this is a later addition to the overall piece. Some small dents to the flat section of lid below the domed section, numerous dents to the inner rim of the lid where it inserts into the main cup (Not visible with the lid on). Lid fits snugly but securely proud of the cup body in places. Cup body engraved cartouche, dented from the inside out on the right hand side, un-engraved cartouche on the opposite side has several small dents. Handles are firmly attached and appear to be un-repaired. Minor wear throughout commensurate with age. Rubbing and surface marking to the ebonised base (through to the wood in places), worn felt underneath. Minor denting to the two presentation collars to the plinth base.

Wooden, leather-covered grip with iron wire binding. Wooden, leather-covered scabbard with iron mounts, pierced and engraved with trophies and floral motifs, cap with oval, bronze medallion, with inscription 'Presented to Major Patterson by the Officers, Non Comm. Officers & Privates of his Troops Light Dragoons 1799'. Manufacturer 'Knubley & Co. No. 7 Charing Cross London' on the opposite side. Two suspension rings. length 96 cm.

dating: First Empire provenance: Cisalpine Republic, Curved, single-and short false-edged blade with large central fuller, first part engraved and gilded (parts missing) with a hussar, trophy, sun and floral motifs on a blue ground. Brass hilt with remains of gilding, loop-guard angled at the base and with a curl on the ends, pommel shaped as eagle's head, horn, spiral grip. Leather scabbard (damages) with brass mounts. Two suspension rings. length 87 cm.

dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Curved, single-and false-edged blade, with central fuller that doubles at the foible, first part engraved with Savoy eagle, trophy and floral motifs, iron hilt with big, drop-shaped slot, short cap and horn, spiral grip with metallic wire binding; scabbard with one suspension ring. Leather clutches and sword-knot. length 97 cm.

dating: Second half of the 19th Century provenance: Sardinian Kingdom, Fine, curved, single-and false-edged blade with large fuller that doubles at the foible, engraved with Savoy coat-of-arms, trophy and floral motifs, signed 'J. E. Bleckmann' and 'Solingen', tang. Iron hilt with four loop-guards, long, faceted cap and ebony grip, checkered in sectors. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings. Complete with clutches and sword-knot. length 104 cm.

dating: Early 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Smooth, iron, two-stage, octagonal and round, 16 mm cal. barrel, with ring at the girdle, featuring engravings with trophies, half-moons with stars, remains of numbering, traces of gold-inlay and two elliptical stamps. Iron lock chiselled with silver-inlaid spirals. Wooden, full stock (damage at the grip). Butt-plate covered with marked, silver foils, richly decorated with relieved trophies and rinceau. Also trigger guard has a trophy, floral decorations and stamp. Central part of the grip covered with wire binding. Back plate with thick, relieved rinceau. A half-moon at the bottom part, decorations similar to two barrel brackets, the second one, very long, provided with an integrated, false ramrod. These last elements in marked silver as well. length 50 cm.
