Henry Spencer Follett of the 7th Dragoons Guards appointed as Hon Secretary. By 1902 soem 175 clubs had afiliated to the Indian Polo Association. Tournaments included the Open Championship, Inter-regimental Tournament. The Indian Polo Association Team won the first Coronation Cup in England in 1911, the team included Leslie Cheape, Shah Mirza Beg, R. Gerald Rotson and Vivian Lockett.

AN IRISH FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS BY HUTCHINSON, DUBLIN, LATE 18TH CENTURY with multi-stage brass barrel formed with a belled moulded muzzle, inscribed 'Dublin' and with Dublin city census marks 'DC-4673' over the breech, engraved iron tang, bevelled lock signed within a scrollwork frame and with a spray of foliage on the tail (cock replaced), full stock, engraved brass mounts comprising solid side-plate decorated with a trophy-of-arms trigger-guard signed 'Fras Hutchinson' on the tang and decorated with a rococo flower on the bow, butt-cap with a trophy on the tang, two ramrod-pipes, and a pair of sling swivels, and associated ramrod 39.5 cm; 15 1/2 in barrel Michael Hutchinson, son-in-law of Francis Lord, is recorded at 8 Dame Street, Dublin in 1796 and 1806. VARIOUS OWNERS A RARE 0.75 CALIBRE BREECH-LOADING FLINTLOCK RIFLE BY FRANCIS INNES, EDINBURGH, LONDON PROOF MARKS, CIRCA 1780 with signed swamped barrel rifled with ten deep grooves, fitted with screw-in breech-plug operated by a lever incorporating the trigger-guard, the latter engraved with a trophy-of-arms (restored, the threaded plug replaced), stepped lock signed within a scrollwork frame (refreshed, mainspring replaced), expertly restocked with raised mouldings about the tang and opposite the lock, and engraved brass butt-plate decorated with a trophy-of-arms 103.2 cm; 40 5/8 in barrel Francis Innes is recorded at Cowgate, Edinburgh circa 1772-90.

Shaykh … year 1236 (1820-1821) (?)"

Scarce Prussian Model 1889 Infantry Officers Sword Produced for a Child, an interesting exact copy of the officers sword with brass guard incorporating Prussian eagle, fishskin covered grip with wire binding. Housed in plated scabbard with two hanging rings. Blade with etched decoration to both sides of foliage and trophy of arms. Blunted tip as usual with the kinder swords. Some rusting to the top of the blade but otherwise good example. The blade measures 50 ½ cms, overall 63 ½ cms.

Scarce Imperial German Prussian Grenadiers Mitre Cap, having large white metal front plate with eagle to centre, trophy of arms and fused grenades etc. Scaled leather backed chinstraps. Red cloth bag with braid strips. Interior has leather lining. Complete with its original pom-pom. Some staining to the cloth bag and white metal fittings show patina. Overall a good example of a scarce item of Imperial German headdress.
