The covers were produced in July 1972 and HRH Prince William died in August 1972 in a plane crash at the Goodyear International Air Trophy. Very rare set. Good Condition. A good colour signed 10 x 8 photograph, the image showing Zidane in a head and shoulders pose holding the World champion trophy. Signed in bold blue ink across the image. CESAR: (1921-1998) César Baldaccini. French Sculptor. A leading figure of the Nouveau Réalisme movement. He is the creator of the “César de Cinema” trophy, which is awarded to the best in French cinema. Signed 8 x 4 photograph by Cesar `Amitié, César´, the image depicting one of Cesar´s main works `Centaure´. Signed in bold black ink to the right lower card border. Traces of glue affixing to the photograph. Matted in white to an overall size of 13 x 10 (33 x 25 cm). G to VG £150-200 Le Centaure (1985) is a bronze sculpture by César, today at the Michel Debré square in Paris.

A Victorian presentation trophy in the form of a field gun inscribed "Presented by Sheykh A H Abdelmaleh to Major Edward Hutton, 60th Royal Kings Rifles for his Bravery in capturing the gun at Tel El Kebir 13th Sept 1882". (Later Lieutenant General Sir Edward Thomas Henry Hutton, KCB, KCMG, FRGS) On the underside is a handwritten letter describing the action. A later additional plate added from 1950 when the trophy was used a RA Battery gun drill prize. 28cm long by 16cm in height. Silver plated with Sphinx feet.

An Edwardian silver trophy, Martin Hall & Co, Sheffield 1904, with flying scroll handles, on stepped circular base, 14.7ozt CONDITION REPORT: There are no engravings to this piece. The hallmark is clear and legible. The piece sits well on its foot rim and does not rock. There are six dents and creases to the body throughout and some minor surface scratching and wear.
