A pair of silver goblets, Birmingham 1969, with foliate engraved bowls, initialled, 14cm high, a christening mug, a small golf trophy (The Balfour-Melville Cup) and a bud vase, approximately 605gm Condition Report: Lot 524:The trophy cup has a dent to one side, it is engraved 'The Balfour Melville Cup' to one side and 'Maurice Heggie 1934' to the other. Dent to both sides. The stem has been pushed in to the foot. It has a small wood plinth but it doesn't sit on it that well owing to the pushed in foot. The cup weighs approx 75gm.

The Topham Trophy: An Elizabeth II Silver Horse Racing Trophy, mark of William Comyns & Sons Ltd (Richard Comyns), London 1967 and signed H.Abbo, the cube form top supported on a pyramid base, decorated in shallow relief with abstract designs, on wood plinth base with applied plaques inscribed ''The Topham Trophy 1968'' and ''Won By Surcharge'', 42cm high including base See illustration Exhibited: Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, 1968 The Topham Chase has been run at Aintree since 1949, one of only three races run over the Grand National fences. As a keen benefactor of the arts Mirabel Topham introduced the annual competition to design the trophy for that year's race, the winning entry being presented at the April meeting at Aintree. The 1968 race was won by Surcharge, owned by Mrs L. Jackson, trained by J. Barclay and ridden by S.Davenport.

PELE TROPHY 89 Sheet of hotel notepaper signed by 18 Argentina players who participated in the Copa Pele 1989 in Sao Paulo and all teams stayed at the Hotel Transamerica. Signatures were collected by Don Masson. Amongst the signatories are Albrecht who played against England in 1966 and others include Perotti, Cortes, Cardenas and Lopez. Good

Likely to be 1955-56 or 56-57 as United won the League both seasons and the Charity Shield the following season. Edwards is on the photograph which shows the directors on the front row and " all best wishes Matt Busby" is signed across the Charity Shield (this is probably part of the postcard and not signed individually). PELE TROPHY 1989 The Pele Trophy was a World Cup for Senior players held in Sao Paulo Brazil between 15/1/89 and 2/2/89 and was presided over by Pele . It brought back together some of the greatest World Cup players of the Era 1966-1986. The British team was billed as Great Britain as it consisted of English and Scottish players. This Lot is the personal accreditation pass issued to Don Masson (Scotland) for the Tournament and has a photo of him in GB tracksuit attached. Rare for items from this Tournament to surface. Good
