Indian Royal Presentation Silver Horse Racing Trophy _ the campagna shape with two s-scroll handles and chased acanthus leaf decoration and cover with later replacement finial of a jockey on horseback, also with the original finial of a horse jumping. The body engraved "Rawalpindi (Special) Gymkhana MARCH 11TH 1922 ON THE OCCASION OF H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES VISIT TO RAWALPINDI MR. SIDNEY SMITH'S C.E.M. CHIARO RIDDEN BY H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES" and the reverse "THE HAWTHORN HILL HANDICAP PRESENTED BY MR. 'HEATH' OF BOMBAY", the base stamped O.M for Oomersi Mawji, and the replacement finial Birmingham 1912, 35cm tall, 1950g (and the old finial 156g). Sold with news cuttings relating to occasion when the trophy was handled in 1973 after a book review when it was in the ownership of Miss. D. K. Bartlett

The medal was a smaller replica of the original Littlewoods Cup Trophy with a removable lid and includes the original box that was presented to the players. A fine Louis XVI style marble top mahogany gueridon table, in the manner of Henry Dasson, late 19th century, the circular top with a single secret frieze drawer below, decorated with ormolu trophy mounts and classical Atlante supports over a pierced endless knot under tier on wrythern tapering gilt feet. 78cm diameter x 77 cm overall height.The table is in good but dirty order with all mounts intact but some lifting slightly.The marble is in good but again very dirty order.The secret spring-loaded frieze drawer binds a little but eventually pops out when the button is pushed.NOTE:We have now managed to lift the marble that was hitherto thought to be fixed and it is apparent that this marble is a replacement, see the extra images.
