Charlie Walters played 134 times for Spurs between 1919 and 1926 and played centre-half in all six FA Cup ties in 1921 when Spurs won the trophy. The letter is torn along folds and has a few signs of foxing but is legible whilst the postcard is in very good condition. The collection includes his helmet, trophy cup, inscribed glass tankard, books, numbers etc. These items were bought in 1992 from House & Son in Bournemouth, when his effects were sold. *`Fearless Foster` was born in 1911 and is remembered as one of the great all round-rounders of Motor Cycling competition.
