TOTTENHAM Signed postcard photo and a letter from Charlie Walters to a female fan (hand-written and signed). The photo is signed "Yours Sincerely C Walters". Charlie Walters played 134 times for Spurs between 1919 and 1926 and played centre-half in all six FA Cup ties in 1921 when Spurs won the trophy. The letter is torn along folds and has a few signs of foxing but is legible whilst the postcard is in very good condition. Also included is a Spurs Supporters Club four page set of Accounts and Notice of AGM dated June 1951. This has several large tears along folds but is complete. As described
MOTOR CYCLING MEMORABILIA - BOB FOSTER an interesting collection of items formally belonging to Bob Foster, formally World Champion in 1950 for Velocette at 350cc. The collection includes his helmet, trophy cup, inscribed glass tankard, books, numbers etc. These items were bought in 1992 from House & Son in Bournemouth, when his effects were sold. *`Fearless Foster` was born in 1911 and is remembered as one of the great all round-rounders of Motor Cycling competition. He acquired his nickname by his handling of the fearsome bikes at that time.
