A Cycling Trophy Possibly of German origin, a trophy in the form of a Bullock horn with brass mounts and a lid with a cyclist and his bicycle at its apex. The horn mounted on a decorative stand and a fitted ring that originally held the citation. An interesting and unusual trophy. 22-inches (56cm) high.
1918 4th Reserve Battalion The Welsh Regiment Trophy Plaque, pressed metal circular plaque with regimental badge to the centre and around the edge “4TH RESERVE BATTALION THE WELSH REGT FOOTBALL CHALLENGE SHIELD”. Separate scroll engraved “WON BY C COMPANY 1918”. Both have been mounted onto a new larger circular three piece backing circular panel with brass fixing hook to the top. Impressive regimental item.
