A 19th Century Chinese Sterling Silver Trophy Cup, twin handled and chased with figural scenes to top band and bamboo decoration to bottom band. Vine fruit to the base, with domed lid decorated with crane finial. The inscription reads "Bowling Match Canton" First Prize presented by Schmidt of Shanghai-May 1889 to Mr Arthur Dowler, approx 636 gms, stamped SS with further character marks.
