dating: 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Two-stage barrel, in damask, octagonal in the first segment, richly inlaid with golden trophies, geometrical motifs and inscription, not clearly readable; the second part is round, with strongly bell-mouthed nozzle and remains of gilding. Barrel's tang inlaid in gold en suite. Flintlock with flat, recessed plate, marked 'D. EGG', on a gilded trophy, recessed tang and with remains of trophies. The cock with Oriental engravings. Wooden, full stock. Silver mounts. Butt side almost completely covered with silver plaques, pierced and engraved with rinceaux. Silver butt-plate, with stamp 'SN' and engraved with rinceaux. Silver trigger-guard, decorated and stamped en suite, so as the barrel bracket. The counter-plate carved as butt's plaques. Three stars and silver escutcheon on the back. Wooden ramrod. length 63 cm.
dating: Early 19th Century provenance: France, Curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with strong fuller, engraved at the forte with a crescent, a trophy, imperial eagle and rinceaux on one side, a sun, moor's head and other rinceaux on the other, an inscription 'Manifacture Imp.le de Klingenthal' at the base on one side , 'Coulaux Freres' on the other. Remains of gilding and blueing. Brass hilt. Langets engraved with leaves. Three loop-guards decorated with leaves. Long cap with floral engravings. Leather-covered grip, with copper wire binding. Iron scabbbard with two lugs with brass bands, decorated with relieved flowers. length 97 cm.
dating: late 18th Century provenance: Karlsbad, Smooth-bore, two-stage, 12 mm cal. barrel, first octagonal then round, without girdle, fore-sight; engraved tang and with number '1'; right flintlock, slightly engraved, the left one converted to percussion; wooden, full stock, with brass mounts, engraved with a trophy and floral motifs. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod. length 38 cm.
dating: Second quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Germany, Iron bow of flat section; fine wooden tiller, checkered in the lower part and on the stock, with engraved grooves at the guard; iron groove engraved with petals; an axe trophy, flags and other arms on the tang; trigger-guard engraved with vases and provided with finger support; flower-patterned flat guard; trigger and set trigger; front part covered with ivory. length 49 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Austria, Straight, double-edged blade, of lenticular section, with short fuller at the forte, an engraved arm trophy on both facets, crowned double eagle, and another arm trophy, with lances and sabers. Iron hilt with arms curved downwards, provided with a large lobe at the ends, the guard en suite; large guard-ring with grooved decoration in the center. Grip with iron, spiral wire bindings and moor's heads at the ends. Pommel with two, large holes and surmounted with a button. length 100 cm.
dating: 18th Century provenance: Italy, Smooth-bore, two-stage, cal. 25 mm (!) barrel, octagonal in the first segment, with molded frame at the base, the of sixteen facets, with outlines at the girdle and small moulded muzzle at the nozzle. Tang engraved with floral and geometrical motifs. Flintlock. Wooden stock in two pieces, slightly chiselled, with brass mounts, finely engraved with floral motifs, butt-plate also with a trophy, grip with a button to fold the butt. Iron belt hook. Iron-tipped wooden ramrod and iron cartridge extractor. length 80 cm.
dating: 18th Century provenance: Austria, Fine, 13 mm cal. barrel of Turkish origin, late 17th century, of round section, with thin rib on the back and moulded muzzle, gold-inlaid with rinceaux at the base and next to the nozzle, remains of gilded stamp. Lock probably converted to percussion, with thick, flat, iron plate. European stock of the 18th century, with various parts missing and woodworm holes. The barrel is probably a trophy of the Vienna Battle. length 166,5 cm.
dating: 1910 provenance: Prussia, Straight, single-edged blade with double groove, in fine damask, first part finely engraved with dedication 'Pohle s. l. Koch' on the right side, and '1910', on the other, the tang with mark 'WK&C'. Gilded, brass hilt, folding shell-guard with Prussian, pierced eagle; cap with eagle on a trophy in bass-relief. Black grip with metallic wire binding and crowned monogram 'WR'. Remains of irrelevant sword-knot. Iron, blackened scabbard with two suspension rings. length 93.5 cm.
WW2 RAF Attributed 203 Squadron Italian Propeller Souvenir. A rare Squadron Trophy in the form of a twin bladed laminated wooden propellor. The blades retaining brass trim leading edge and decorated with the locations of the Squadrons airfields and landing grounds during the North African campaign. This include Sidi Barrana, Fuka, Tobruk, etc. The boss with various issue stamps indicating engine type etc. Tips cut length 70 1/2 inches. Clean condition.The vendor has attributed the “Trophy” to 203 Squadron, which closely followed the airfields and landing grounds indecated on the propeller. It is interesting to note that the last airfield listed is Kankesanturai, this was last base 203 Sqd operated from in WW2. The Squadron began the Second World War operating the Short Singapore Flying Boat and converted to the Bristol Blenheim becoming operational in March 1940. Its role being reconnaissance and fighter patrols. It would later convert to the Wellington Bomber and finally the Liberator, in the closing stages of the war operating anti-submarine patrols from Ceylon.

An important Royal Automobile "Club tourist trophy" won by Ernest Courtis in a Rover 16/20 horsepower motor car in 1907The top section of the trophy a silver gilt figure of Mercury (silver weight approximately 23oz, hallmarked for Daniel & John Welby of Garrick Street, London 1907), the lower section depicting figures of flora and a blacksmith with car motif, with inscription A C GB, the central cartouche with inscription "Tourist Trophy". The historical Royal Automobile Club tourist trophy was first held on the Isle of Man on the 14th September 1905. The tourist trophy is the oldest motoring contest in the world. This trophy was won by Ernest Courtis driving the Rover 16/20 horsepower touring car on 31st May 1907. Height 48cm. Provenance - this trophy belonged to Harry Smith who was the Managing Director of the Rover Car Company up until 1915, thence by descent.
