He was also the 1985 Schneider Trophy Air Race Judge. Signed on the reverse by Squadron Leader C Hilliker of the 1985 Schneider Trophy team. Good condition. A very fine and heavy cast silver Table Snuff Box, the hinged lid heavily cast with a Roman chariot battle-scene above a body similarly cast with battle trophy including spears and shields etc., the lid opening to reveal gilded interior and presentation inscription, makers mark NM for Nathaniel Mills, assayed Birmingham probably 1826; 8cm wide, approx. 139g CONDITION REPORT: This came privately, was inherited and has been in the family for many years. The box looks in exceptionally good original untouched condition with nice crisp decoration (the box weighs 139.5g), the interior is crisply gilded and engraved with presentation inscription as per catalogue entry. Equestrian Games of the XVI Olympiad, Stockholm 1956; a finely engraved two-handled glass Trophy detailing the Three-Day Team Event Gold Medal winners, the Grand Prix Jumping Bronze Medals and Grand Prix Dressage, the front of the Trophy engraved with a horse mounted Classical style figure above the Olympic rings, 24cm high CONDITION REPORT: The Equestrian Games of the XVth Olympiad, Stockholm 1956 is engraved around the outside of the lip, one side is engraved with a rider and horse above the 5 conjoined Olympic rings, the reverse of the piece is engraved Three Day Team Event Gold Medals and then the recipients, then the Grand Prix Jumping Bronze Medals and again the recipients, and then Grand Prix Dressage.

Garage Ltd, with details of winners and further winners to a plastic plinth, a salver 'To Commemorate The Golden Jubilee of The Lancashire & Cheshire Car Club, president by The RAC Motorsports Association 5th February 1983', a twin handled trophy cup inscribed 'L&C.C.C Derbyshire Sporting Trial, The Quick Trophy', with winners details to the plinth and a further twin handled plated trophy cup inscribed 'Lancashire & Cheshire Car Club, The Ken Coffey Trophy, for annual competition 1967, Sprint Championship', with plaque detailing three winners to a marble base (5). CONDITION REPORT: The name 'Appleton' does not appear on any of these trophies.
