Lower section with cannons and a crowned badge with sword and crescent moons to the centre. Complete with metal chain and blue velvet backing to the reverse. These items were a popular item in Polish Military culture in the late 18th century. When Poland became independent again after WW1, these gorgets came back into Military dress by officers

Scarce Indian Army 1st Bengal Light Cavalry Officers Undress Shoulder Scales, white metal scaled shoulder straps, one with the top mount having regimental button with “LASWAREE 1 CAVALRY” to the centre. Trophy of arms decoration to the lower section of each strap. Remains of the cloth lining to the reverse. Some wear and loose scales but a scarce pair.

For the best animal in the Fat Cattle Classes, Re-presented in 1899 for the best yearling Shorthorn Bull.', with engraved presentations from 1898 - 1954, some gaps during First World War period, the lower body repousse decorated and chased with shells and leaves, short pedestal, domed circular foot, makers Elkington & Co, Birmingham 1895, approx. 159ozt, 4967 grams, height 55cm, an identical electroplate gilt trophy is held in the collection of The Royal Doublin Society but awarded for a different cattle class (Condition report: the gilding is mostly worn off to the exterior and interior but traces remain in the hard to clean areas and to the underside, sits fairly level on a flat surface, the top rim looks slightly oval when viewed from above, a shallow crease behind both handles, the foot rim is slightly out of shape in one area, surface is scratched)
