^ German Hunting Hanger c.1870, straight double edge blade cut with a pair of fullers, etched with small trophies and blued and gilt for half length, gilt brass pommel and crosspiece cast with dog head finials, deer and boar heads on quillon block, together with foliage, one piece reeded ivory grip, in its leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts chased with trophy and foliage. Blade 57cms, overall 74cms. Good condition, some rust staining to blade, some wear to gilding.

A George III Gold Hardstone Vinaigrette, unmarked, circa 1820, the cover set with a faceted citrine, and with pierced musical trophy grille, 3.2cm wideThe pierced section of the grille is detached from its border in several places and the grille does not stay closed. Hinges appear intact. Cover closes fairly tightly but catches on the corner of the grille when opened.
