A multi-coloured paste costume jewellery 'statement' necklace. The pastel coloured and near-colourless paste stones arranged in graduated arches and crescents around an oval floret, on an oval belcher-link back-chain with a trigger clasp and a tag 'Freedom', the frontispiece approx. 12cm high, 18cm wide, the necklace approx. 48cm long overall Condition Report: Clasp funtions. One of the cushion shaped stones, set in a crescent shape on the far right hand side, is standing a little proud. Would benefit from a clean.
A GROUP OF CERAMICS AND ORNAMENTS, comprising a pair of Staffordshire rabbits (crazing), an Art Deco design vase, decorated with a country dwelling design height 26cm, impressed No.67 and printed No. 5761 on the base (historic repair to crack), an hexagonal fruit bowl 'Dent' mark to the base, a pair of blue and gilt metal candle sticks, height 30cm, a large studio pottery bowl decorated with pastel coloured blue and pink flowers, diameter 25cm, possibly by Damian Barclay-Deane, and a Beryl Cook style Parian Ware figurine (reglued damage to fingers and hands) (8) (Condition Report: most obvious damage is mentioned in description)
Frank Boothman (British, second half 20th century) Three sketchbooks (Daler, Tinted Ingres paper), containing mostly landscape pastel work, locations including Seaton in Devon, Padstow, Mentmore, Beer, Aston Abbotts, Weybourne in Norfolk, Costa del Sol, Sicily etc; together with a 1950s Rowney Sketch Pad of pencil, charcoal and watercolour portrait work.
James R. Middleton (early 20th century), Wooded landscape with figure, pastel, 35 x 30cm.; together with a further pastel river scene signed Penelope Nelson; a 19th century pastel landscape of figures by a bridge.(3) All framed and glazed. Condition Report: All under glass, mostly reasonably good appearance.
Circle of Pierre le Boeff, Views of Cathedral cities, a pair, watercolour, each 56 x 37cm.; together with a pastel street scene in Verona, and a colout etching on the interior of Rheim Cathedral by E. Sharland.(4) All framed and glazed. Condition Report: All under glass, main pair rather discoloured, may benefit from a clean.
