Framed and glazed pastel drawing by Norman Smith, titled 'Uffington Fields' and signed l.l. Previously sold by Thompsons, The City Gallery in London. Norman Smith , originally from Berkshire, travelled extensively through India and the Far East, before settling in Western Australia where he lived and worked for several years. Now based in Oxfordshire the artist is best known for his vibrant pastel works depicting the changing moods of his surrounding landscape. Smith's works feature in collections as far afield as Japan, Germany, Australia and America. The artist was elected to the Pastel Society in 2000. Picture size H:60cm x W:53.
