He lectured in Art & Design at Stockport College of further Education, later to become Senior Lecturer. Charlie had a one man exhibition at The Blythe in Manchester, The Unicorn Gallery in Chelsea, and The Woolff Gallery in Shoreditch, London. Charlie also produced commissioned work for the BBC Publications, London Underground (poster design), Corgi Books, Marks & Spencer, and numerous others. (illustrated)
