Felixmüller. 1925 siedelte sie nach Hamburg, trat der GEDOK und der Hamburger Künstlerschaft bei. 1931 kehrte sie nach Dresden zurück, wo sie im Jahr darauf mit Schizophrenie in eine Nervenheilanstalt eingewiesen und 1940 von den Nationalsozialisten ermordet wurde. F. studierte an der Folkwang-Schule Essen und der Hochschule für Bildende Künste Berlin. Er erhielt eine Professur an der Hochschule der Künste Berlin. F. wurde mit vielen nationalen und internationalen Auszeichnungen geehrt. Er stellte u.a. in der Neuen Nationalgalerie in Berlin aus. Von ihm stammt die Ausmalung der Decke im Spiegelsaal des Museums für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg. Fußmann, Klaus (Velbert 1938) Rapeseed Pastel, 42 x 56 cm, lo. ri. sign. and dat. Fußmann 1.01, matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - German landscape and flower painter. F. studied at the Essen Folkwang school and at the Berlin academy where he later became professor. He won numerous national and international awards and had many exhibitions, among others in the 'Neue Nationalgalerie' in Berlin. He painted the ceiling in the hall of mirrors in the Hamburg arts and crafts museum.

Jhs.; Brustbildnis einer jungen Adeligen Repräsentatives, höfisches Rokoko-Porträt einer jungen Adeligen mit Perlen-Halsband im leichten Profil, gewandet in ein hellblaues Kleid, um die Schultern ein Leoparden-Umhang. Mit feinem, zarten Strich in hellem Kolorit gemaltes, anmutiges Bildnis. Carriera war Schülerin G. Diamantinis, A. Balestras und wurde maßgeblich von ihrem Schwager G. A. Pellegrini beeinflußt. 1703 wandte sie sich der Pastellmalerei zu und wurde zu einer höchst gefragten Malerin, die eine Vielzahl von Porträts für die europäischen Fürstenhöfe, die berühmtesten Persönlichkeiten und die gefeiertesten Damenschönheiten schuf. Feinfühlig charakterisiert Laserstein den offenen, neugierigen Blick des Mädchens mit ihren strahlend blauen Augen, konzentriert sich hierbei ganz auf die Figur mit größtenteils frei gelassenem Bildgrund. Das Porträt entstand nach 1937, wohl um 1950, im schwedischen Exil, wohin die jüdische Künstlerin vor den Nazis fliehen musste, nachdem sie in Berlin während der Weimarer Republik 1927-1933 eine Karriere als bedeutende Malerin der Moderne gemacht hatte.
