Provenance: During WWI the family of the vendor housed numerous refugees in Aberystwyth. It was during this time they befriended Valerius de Saedeleer. CONDITION REPORT: Cardigan Bay - contains strong colours, good and original with original backing and appears in very good condition, The other has seen water damage. This has altered the colours in the image and has rippled the canvas which is laid on board and shows surface wear. There are also nail holes to each corner where it has been tacked to the mount.
