(45.7 by 68.6cm) Five paintings by Blaise Smith - currently School Vice-Principal at the RHA- were included in the Royal Hibernian Academy annual exhibition in 2017. The Kilkenny based artist recently made the front cover of the Irish Arts Review Summer edition for his portrait of eight scientists for the Royal Irish Academy. This portrait won the Irish US Council/Irish Arts Review Portrait Award at the RHA annual show. Harry Kernoff RHA (1900-1974) PORTRAIT OF DELIA MURPHY pastel Delia Murphy (1902-1971) was a singer and collector of Irish ballads. She recorded several records in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. In 1941 Murphy was appointed Irish Minister Plenipotentiary to the Holy See in Rome.
