HRH The Princess Margaret - dress design by Victor Stiebel (1907-1976), pastel and gouache - ‘A formal evening reception dress in heavy white faille. The entire dress is embroidered. A broderie anglaise motif has been taken and treated with diamonds. A faille band finishes the neckline and makes the narrow belt’- with fabric sample, signed by the designer, circa 1955, mounted in presentation folder inscribed PM and numbered 53 - the image 37x27cm
Taxidermy: A Victorian Cased Diorama of Common Kestrels (Falco tinnunculus), circa 1880-1900, a family group of Common Kestrels, male, female and four chicks within a nest, the chicks surrounding a painted wooden egg, the female perched upon a faux rock ledge above the nest area, the male perched upon a branch with a mouse prey, all mounted amidst a natural setting with ferns, tall grasses and brush, set against a watercolour and pastel painted back board, enclosed within a typical pine framed three-glass table display case, 66cm by 27.5cm by 61cm

Hudson, 18 St Margaret's Street, Ipswich, full mount male perched upon a lichen encrusted branch, issuing from a faux rock ledge, amidst a natural setting of grasses and ferns, set against a pastel and watercolour painted meadow scene back board, enclosed within an ebonised five-glass wall hanging display case, 25cm by 12.5cm by 32cm, taxidermist's full paper trade label to interior upper left
ATTRIBUTED TO L S LOWRY pen and ink and (believed) pastel sketch on a small old note book page - a single side-on view of figure in hat, smoking and with hands in pockets standing next to railings within rough outer border, entitled top left 'Tramp Pendlebury', signed and dated at bottom 1959 and number 19 top left of page, verso there is a handwritten number 8932 with a repeat of date and signature, 13 x 7cms Provenance: drawing of figure in similar pose sold Christies Modern British & Irish Art (Sale 12303) March 2017. Picture purchased by art collector privately.
