Mackenzie Thorpe (b.1956) ``The Couple Forever`` Signed, inscribed, and dated 2013, pastel, 112cm by 80cm Provenance: Purchased directly from the artist *PLEASE NOTE: Droit de Suite Royalty Charges (or ARR) apply to this lot The pastel has not been sealed with a fixative and as such there are areas where it has smudged into the margins (see images before framing). The work has now been framed. There is a scratch to the upper left hand side under the top leaf with the bee (approximately 30cm horizontally) There is also a minor scratch towards the right hand side at the top of the brown tree trunk. There are some speckled areas within the man`s trousers and the leaves on the right hand side (these may be intentional by the artist). Otherwise appears ok. Has not been examined out of the frame.
Mackenzie Thorpe (b.1956) ``On a Summers Day`` Signed, inscribed and dated 2013, pastel, 74cm by 102cm *PLEASE NOTE: Droit de Suite Royalty Charges (or ARR) apply to this lot The pastel has not been sealed with a fixative and as such there are areas where it has smudged into the margins (see images before framing). There is a smudge to the top edge. There is a black line approximately 1cm above the left of the cloud and a fine blue line approximately 3cm in length towards the upper centre of the picture. The left hand shoe is slightly smudged into the lace area and the end of the right hand shoe is slightly smudged. There is a brown spot in the top right hand corner. (Has not been examined out of the frame)

Royal Worcester Ovoid Two Handled Cover Vase, with signed polychrome roundel of peaches and raspberries by E.Townsend to the front; the main body in mottled blue, the roundel sitting within a gilt frame over pastel pink and green, with further gilt filigree motifs to the back, neck and base; the two gilt handles curve upwards from the shoulders terminating with scrolls at the base of the neck; the cover being in mottled blue with a gilt finial; 13 inches high including cover; date marks for 1927 plus reg. no.669182 and 2710 (excellent restoration to neck [not rim] and across the base stem, also restoration to the cover)
