Kornetchuk was an intrepid and widely admired dealer of Russian art, with direct personal contacts amongst the elite Soviet artists of the day, whose works she sold legally to the West. As of 1978, Kornetchuk secured an exclusive agreement with the Soviet foreign trade agency to export and sell art from the USSR to the USAEXPERTISEAccompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Elena Kornetchuk, President of Russian Images, Ltd.This lot is being sold without reserve.
