A George III fruitwood and rolled paperwork tea caddy: of elongated hexagonal form with two interior divisions and one cover, the exterior decorated with flowers and foliage in rolled and coloured paper with a small Bartolozzi engraving to one side, all on a pale blue ground applied with mica flakes, circa 1800, 20 cm wide [some losses].
A late Victorian carved oak chiming bracket clock: the eight-day duration movement striking the hours on a gong and the quarters on a further eight or four gongs, the seven-inch arched brass dial with a raised silvered chapter ring engraved with black Roman numerals and Arabic five-minute outer numerals, with a matted centre, the arch having two subsidiary dials for regulation and Chime on Eight Gongs/Chime on Four Gongs, with cast brass spandrels and decorative blued steel hands, the oak case profusely carved and with a male mask-head to the front of the caddy top and further decoration to the carved side frets, height 58cm.
