A 9ct gold slide action pencil holder, with engraved decoration, Birmingham 1906, silver, comprising; three various spoons, a fork, a caddy spoon bowl and a trophy lid, also foreign and plated wares, comprising; four spoons with figure terminals, three condiment spoons, a stirrer and a mother of pearl handle.
A Regency mahogany, crossbanded and brass strung tea caddy, circa 1815, of sarcophagus form, with cavetto edged cover and four brass ball feet, the interior with twin subsidiary caddies with hinged covers, two paper labels within for J.Wilmott, Upholder, Cabinet Maker, etc, John Street, Oxford Street, 18cm high, 35cm wide. Thomas Wilmott was in business at 16 St John Street by 1800 and continued to trade from the same address until after 1840. He is mentioned in the Sheraton’s list of Master Cabinet Makers, 1803.
