A late Regency period rosewood teapoy; the angular top with canted corners, hinged and opening to reveal a fully fitted interior of two original removable caddy boxes, together with a pair of original cut-glass mixing bowls, with turned angular stem above a platform base terminating in French style scrolls and brass castors (43cm wide x 36cm deep x 75.5cm high)Condition Report: Vendor enquiry lot number incorrect the Rosewood Teapoy is lot number 438. Photographs attached and see online description for lot 438. Teapoy is in generally good order and bowls (height 11.5cms and diameter 10 cms), and caddy boxes original. There is a large shrinkage crack to the top surface (image), the top has watermarks and surface scratches, commensurate with age and use. The top lock has been remixed.
